    Arrived onsite at Garliston CAMC on a chilly April evening and the dreaded Truma displayed a flashing E516H. I watched your VLOG and hey presto, it stopped and the heater burst into life. Currently camping in Finnish Lapland near to Tromso and we froze our fecking arses off last night after this error came up and we drunkly decided to fix it in the morning. Thank you very much we got it sorted today due to this video!

      I agree that whoever decided the error is a problem to clear, particularly if you have to actually get to the boiler and press another reset, doesn’t obviously use it themselves. Thanks for watching and your support.

    We had boiler trouble in Madge, we are on the whale heater and also have to wait to press the reset button. Ours is under the bench seat at the back,since then we have changed our packing and now is easy to get to. I would find it a real pain to have to remove screws. Take care

    Thanks for this video.
    I am appalled by the choice of the Truma company. All is needed to put you into a freezing misery lockout is leave the vehicle behind with the Combi heating on, no need to leave a manual valve shut, a bottle will eventually run out...
    Absolutely NOTHING on the Control Panel can defeat the block condition. The error disappears from the CP Plus but seconds after you restart the heating is presented again. You can cut the power to the furnace for a while and nothing will change.
    Nowhere in the Instruction manual of the Combi or the CP Plus this is mentioned. My worst suspicion is that it's a precise strategy by the company to drive the customer into the Service department which will quickly work it out at no cost and can boost the sales of their DuoControl CS for automatic gas bottle switching.
    It's not the first time I have encounterd something like that especially on German designed systems, I am led to believe this is by design and company culture. I'll be terribly relieved to know sooner than later these people will face the harshest competition from the far east.

    Just before the new year stop start system has failed got to take it to dealer .it's a Fiat 2.3 140 have you got any quick solutions.

      We had an engine light come on which also meant the Start Stop system was disabled. There is a recall on the Ducato for a sensor (I believe it is to do with the emissions systems). Due to supply issues we had to wait a few weeks for the part but the van was still ok to be driven. Hope your van is sorted soon.

    Hi. Can you tell me why the clock on my iNet resets to 0:00 when I power off my MoHo. Does it not have a battery backup
    Thanks
    Steve

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  Год назад

      Steve, we have never used the Truma CP to schedule heating so cannot say for certain. However, in the instruction book it states “If there is an interruption to the power supply, the clock has to be reset.” This is taken from the link below. The system runs off the leisure battery so there shouldn’t be any disconnect.

      @@LiveforTravel iNet was installed by the previous owner and I suspect he had wired it from the main control panel without a direct link to the leisure battery to maintain the clock. Thanks for the info

    Hi Any idea how to clear fault code E6H?

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  2 года назад +1

      I don’t know sorry. There is a link to the Truma manual in the description below the video (for the 6E model in the video) but I am unable to find “E6H.” A Google search found this post (link below) that suggested “Combustion motor current too high” but I’m unable to confirm if that is correct.

    If you had to do that regularly, I would be tempted to drill a 20mm access hole in the side of the seat panel to allow a homemade reset tool easy access.

    • @LiveforTravel
      @LiveforTravel  2 года назад +1

      Yes. For E517H you would normally only reset the panel thankfully. I am thinking about fitting 3 magnetic blocks on the inside to allow the cover to simply be lifted off. That seat is not used when driven so would be ok.
