We have truly forgotten how to grieve and I don’t think most of us, most of the time, realize how deeply this is impacting us. Love the pod you guys 🤙🫶

I just watched him being interviewed on surf splendor, from a year ago it said, and he was asked about what he wanted to do going forward in terms of media and movies and cetera. His response was really interesting because he'd sort of laid how much he cultivated celebrity and then he talked about how he was really a surfer, all his life, and that meant basically he'd spent so much time doing surfer things and it was so deep in him that he couldn't escape it. Not sure that makes sense. Just wanted to say SS should embrace being as surfer as the surfiest of the surfers and give us more of all his experience and perspective on the subculture. Take it from the man.

I see it and discuss it a lot with my students and youth- it’s all about the fact that through text there is no INFLECTION. I am guilty of doing what Ryan said too as far as just wanting to text to take the easy way out.
