The locals can't buy it rent anything because of the high prices. They can't even live in their own town because they're are so many tourist lets. Prices have whacked up.

It started in Barcelona & now it's gone right down the coast, Tarragona, Valencia, Alicante, Malaga, Cadiz, no wonder there is so much anti tourism sentiment. I was in Huelva last week, nobody goes there so everybody was super nice. 😂 I'd not normally agree with manipulating market forces but airbnb & aparthotels are causing social damage to a generation of Spaniards, it's not right they need to stop new & stop renewing these tourist licenses.

It they don't stop Solar Geoengineering in Spain people will just stop going on holiday. Why would anyone spend alot of money to look at a Man-made grey/white blanket almost every day. Wake up people

@@RepublicIcon They been looking at a white plastic city for more than 50 years in Almeria but people still go there, where I live there is a solar farm goes from one village to another but the farms around do not have electric.

From the first time a Brit got involved with selling property all prices have rocketed and the Spanish cottoned on. One spanish told me over 30 years ago 'no spanish will ever buy this from you', it has happened l know but it is rare.

You missed the two lovely beaches. The restaurant you said looked posh is really quite reasonably priced. Great video as always though.

Nice to see Moraira again. It’s a pity you didn’t have a quick look at the town on Google Earth before you set off, you would have seen there is a lovely beach 100 yards from the marina.

Well there was me thinking last year my 400k euro would buy me a mansion with an Olympic sized pool.
I've now sadly come to a conclusion just to buy a motorhome and wait for the bubble to burst.
    I'm seeing shoebox's being offered for 400000.
Sellers are believing the agents BS.

😂😂😂 have you looked at Spains economy? It’s the second best in Europe. With people buying from all over the world to come live in Spain. It’s not bursting anytime soon. They will slow down house building to make sure it doesn’t.

@@ScottishCoupleInSpain According to recent data, the Spanish economy is growing at an intense rate, due to several factors:
1-High and constant internal demand in purchases, housing, vehicles, clothing, footwear, food, services. (40% of Spanish GDP)
2-Export of machinery and vehicles, agricultural products, electronic components, renewable energy machines, ships for international merchant marine, aerospace industry, 45% of Spanish GDP.
3-Tourism has exploded, with 100 million tourists in 2024, more than the population of Germany, and double that of Spain, although there are beginning to be many complaints because this enormous number of tourists is considered unsustainable, and the cost-benefit It is starting to be negative, tourism is 13% of the Spanish GDP.
4-Manufacture and export of military material and weapons, for Spanish domestic consumption and sales to other countries, due to the context of instability in Ukraine, the Middle East and the always unstable Spanish friend-enemy; Morocco. The Spanish military sector is already 3% of Spain's GDP.
