do you still use this? how durable is the surface? I've always had problems with durability on plastic pads wearing down around the area where you mostly move the mouse.
Recently bought this one. Glides very well. In fact it feels very fast even on my old G500s, which I soon replace with G502 X that does have PTFE feets.
Does the surface of G440 begin to wear after several months of use? I've had a plastic pad before and the fine texture that makes it smooth, eventually wears out, leaving more of a matt finish.
You should try gaming with the g440 on top of a soft cloth pad to keep it consistent. N0thing has been gaming like that for 10years plus. Should youtube ESEA mouse settings to see who I'm talking about. Hes a pro player who plays with hard pad on top of soft pad since he was like 13. Says it keeps it consistent, but from his videos I assume the soft pad underneath should ideally be bigger. Hope this helps to give you a more consistent feel.
Good review, have you ever gamed on cloth? I'm thinking about making a transition from cloth to hard-pad, also playing CS:GO, would you say the difference is big? Which one is better? I play 800 dpi x 0.9 sens
"Precise control." Yeah, as the mouse slides halfway across the pad 😂 No worries, I love Logitech. Just bought the G Pro Wireless. It's by far the best mouse I have ever used with only a 1ms latency. Logitech finally made wireless a viable option for competitive gameplay. I just can't decide if I wanna keep my G240 cloth pad or buy the G440. I've never owned a hard pad before so I really don't know.
I'm thinking of buying a g440 medium mouse pad, but the cardboard structure scared me a bit. I am using zowie ec2a obviously, how about this mouse pad or is there another mouse pad that you can recommend to me?
i dont think its antislip honestly. I bought this and my g402 was slippery as fuck. I couldn't control my sprays then i got it replaced. Good unboxing and review btw. *liked*
Well that last bit unsold it for me. The main two reasons I'm getting a new one to replace my old shit cheap one is because 1. I literally have about 10cm left-right space and little up-down and 2. It is a soft mat but the edges are annoying af as I can't stand my wrists rubbing on the bumped up sown part around the edges. Is there a good mat that is super thin but good and has no thickened edges?
Thanks for the video! I think I might pick one up since i have never used a hard pad, but would like to try one out. are you still giving away the 9HD? -Z
What kind of "active use"? Mine is still perfect after more than 1 year of use (about 2k hours using it and most of them playing using 800dpi and low sensitivity)
my friend I'm telling you they're not all the same somewhere out in two months… To make a proper review of a mouse pad you should at least look at it after six months minimum otherwise the review is what you just said they're all basically the same… I'm telling you they're not the same
Ordered this. I got another mouse pad before this, but it came out of the box with a giant bump down the middle. Like wtf? It works, but still wtf? Gave it away. Waste of my money. But this looks like a good mouse pad. :)
Does This work with Windows 10?
worked fine with mine, you might have to install a driver or sumthing
i just got this today and i'm using a win7 to win10 bridge to get it's full functionality. so far i've only blue screened once :)

I was looking for a large and hard gaming mouse mat and found this on the web, simply fantastic!

6:06 no need to use nail filer. sharp edges softens within a week of use.

This is the best mouse pad I've ever used
I bet this dude can tear phone books in two
This was fun to do as a kid, there is a trick to it so you don't have to be very strong.
His hands look like he has like 5 percent bfp

Use a TKL keyboard. Everything will be centered properly. Your mouse and your keyboard.
***** Get a TKL with a separate num pad? A lot of people do that. And it would be ideal for gaming. Just a thought.
***** Fair enough. I just made that suggestion since you were bumping into your keyboard.
***** Ah cool. I am still on the fence on what to buy for a new pad.. I may go with an Artisan Hayate. Still not sure.

Great video, thanks! :)
oh my god what a geek
+Matthew McKinnon hah this is the perfect geek story! Only love geeks only love them
Quick moves...with 400dpi lmao
Can somebody answer my question??Which gamer mousepad is better the G240 Cloth or the G440 Hard??
The G440 has less friction between the mouse and pad, so I'd go for the G440
+Marisa Nogueira on low sensitivities go for a steel series qck heavy and on high sensitivities go for the g440
Thanks :D
Mousepad trash in the first few months is great, but in 10 months it will take off the rigid film by 50% don't buy it.
