Sorry to hear you going through that. I had to have all my top teeth to and eating for the first 4 months was brutal couldnt eat anything solid. I just got my temporary teeth last month. Even bite size pieces of shrimp or steak id have to cut up into even smaller pieces and I'd swallow them whole. Glad you're back on track . Stay positive. Love the reactions!!

Just watched this video. My first comment was seeing the notification. Sorry for what you’re going through bud im on the same path but way behind you. Truth is i havent started that journey yet. Stay strong brother.
Thank you Jimmy!!...and it is not a fun journey, but well worth it. I went with permanent false teeth versus going with dentures. Make sure to research which will work best for you...there are a few factors. Main one is financial (dentists get paid upfront/insurance won't help), we had to have my procedure paid in full before the surgery. They consider it cosmetic even though your teeth and mouth are vital to your health, so that is why insurance will not cover. If your top and bottom are both in bad shape, they'll give you the option of doing one at a time, or both at the same time. I'd recommend doing both top and bottom in one shot (if needed)...that way you only have to go thru the surgery and recovery once. I'm not sure what recovery is like via the denture route, it may be quicker but not 100% on that. For permanent false teeth, they'll tell you it is about 12-16 weeks after the procedure. Lol don't buy that, it will be 4-6 months depending on how well you heel and how quickly they get your final set complete. When you start your journey down the path, don't hesitate to hit me up if you have any questions or concerns bro!

Also want to mention a youtube channel You should check out called your favorite denture wearer. Hes a regular ass guy with tons of tips on eating with your dentures and cleaning them and all that stuff. Check him out man he might be able to help

It def is not fun bro, but worth it in the end. Im just glad I decided to let them do the top and bottom in one shot...I could not do this 2 different times. The surgery wasn't bad at all, it's the recovery that is difficult.
