@@PrO-_ToNy corridor bought NODE and gave it to D. this happened after Node fell into a weird place with the owner company. then covid also messed up a lot of their in person videos.
Brandon also went full time on his VR company and corridor has grown a ton since their react stories and other projects that time is hard for them now

I don't care if it's a manhwa or a movie, but we definitely need an isekai where it's really just a virtual reality game and this guy just spending the first 10 chapters just amazed by the graphics, combat, etc.
Love seeing this approach, I didn't feel like learning the craft system and just beat up the second boss with my fists lol

if you need to quickly heal mid combat you can open your potions by hitting the cork on your shield or weapon to pop it open without dropping your means of defense.

VR needs more real games like this. After Half-Life: Alyx you can no longer get away with just arenas with realistics physics because everyone has that now.

Full playthrough is like 30 more minutes after the dark knight. Game is still in early access, so it's only one chapter

What stops you from just swinging the controller left to right really quickly to stab everyone before they can strike? (Except real fatigue though)
Not all games allow that, some make you do somewhat of a full motion to register the hit, otherwise, it is just a light touch which gives no damage at all...
But that said, as I haven't played this game and he didn't show it in the video, I don't know if this game allows that.
Game doesn't register hits like that. It will do no damage

The ennemies look so stiff though, is it intentionnal because they are undead ?
animation is hard, i think they focused more on making the combat engaging than making the enemies super fluid. Cleaner animation on fully physics-rigged characters in VR will come with time i think, we're still in the morrowind era of VR.

Game looks cool, doesn't look too hard though. I know it's early access, but if it wants to be a VR darksouls, they should up the enemy animation speeds or at least decrease the time between attacks. Make it so they throw several moves in a combo, that kind of thing. Doesn't look like it has the feeling of "This is completely bullshit" that makes beating bosses in souls games satisfying.
It's tough to balance that movement speed with vr though. One day it won't be a puke coaster.

Yes but if they’re wearing armor it kinda gets deflected and you can’t puncture straight through.

The premise of the game is good
BUT the Combat looks so incredibly unsatisfying... enemies are bullet sponges.
And jeah I understand that they need to be but let us chop of some arms or armor or SOMETHING because the Combat looks so unengaging omg...

I enjoyed Grimlord a lot, as someone who loves the Dark Souls games it’s pretty much as close as you can get. I would never play a game on this channel that I don’t like.

I don't get VR. It's full of trash indie shovel ware and every once in a while one of the games like Battle Talent or Grimlord hit with content creators and they all pretend it's way different than any other VR game. But this is exactly the same garbage we've been getting since 2016. It doesn't even really differentiate itself from the other games of its genre that came out in the last month like Battle Talent or Undead Citadel. I don't understand why you're shining the spotlight on this particular game. It's not any good and it barely has any content. This same level has been shown on in development for the past year. I'm sick of the content people make for VR being dishonest. Tons of people see this and buy into VR and are dissapointed and probably swear off VR forever. You're not doing anyone any favors by pretending this stuff is any good.
Believe it or not, there's a thing called "money" that channels make from videos, and this "money" can be used by the creators to stay alive. What a concept! Also, for every "trash indie shovel ware" VR game, there are a thousand more shitty flatscreen games. There are plenty of VR games that are amazing. Just because you don't enjoy them doesn't make them bad lmao.
wow, a little bribery goes a long way....this game should not be getting the spotlight like this. I mean considering there are 5 other games in the same genre that are better than this. I don't understand why you think you can get away with this. Blade And Sorcery is a pretty famous VR game.
Aside from medieval combat, Blade and Sorcery is a completely different type of game. It's a sandbox that they're planning on turning into a dungeon crawler. This game is meant to be a dark souls like game. Two games having similar combat by no means puts them in the same genre.
How did you think this was a good comparison?
Saying other games "lie" aboit being the dark souls of vr, then caloming this game being the real dark souls of vr, then revealing you were sponsored by this game. Doesnt matter how cool it looks, credibility lost.
