This was an amazing reaction and commentary. You are 100% correct to say that we all need to step away from devices. Also, In 2012 under Obama, ,reforms to the Smith-Mundt Act (which up until that point made domestic propaganda illegal) was quietly slipped into the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act. The amended legislation titled the "Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012" was passed and implemented mid 2013. Domestic government propaganda, assisted by the media of course, has been highly prevalent in America for over a century especially during both world wars, regardless of the moral, ethical or legal ramifications but this specific legalization took all of it to a new and dangerous level.

I think it should be regulated when it comes to certain types of media. The coverage of war, politics, anything that can impact a person perspective and shift their ideology falls within the protected class
