I’m here to listen how the set sounds and I like what I hear! Thanks for the upload
I use this scanner with an allscan antenna in the loft and the reception is pretty good with a great range.
Here's a tip for those who may be having issues receiving air band I'd Install a external antenna which I did & am getting air band It makes a lot of difference.
I've got a BC35N 800 MH Z and know matter what I do I can not pick up anything.Help me out please
For these scanners and external antenna always works better
Buon giorno sono Paolo che antenna stai usando per ricevere grazie ciao saluti
Watson W-30
I have a question I put in a 800 MHz frequency in that scanner but the scanner isn’t picking up that frequency. Do you think you can help me out with that?
What would happen if all the services go digital encrypted transmission? Would analogue scanners be still be useful?
speca thoth No.
Any advice for getting Airband I can't seem to receive any signals I'm looking at getting a external antenna to try & solve the problem.
great video, thanks for posting, maybe you can tell me, can you select 5 or 10khz spacing on airband, instead of default 25khz - scanners without this can't receive new frequencies like 134.390, 134.460, 133.940 etc, cheers
Hi roughchippy. This one has default 8.33 steps for the airband.
This looks like a great scanner. Do you think this would be sutiable for 24 hour operation? Many thanks.
Hi, Yes I would say it's suitable for 24 hour operation as we've had ours on for prolonged periods of time with no signs of overheating or other problems. It's not the best out there but is quite decent for the price and makes a suitable home base scanner or mobile scanner out in the vehicle where the close-call works quite well.
Hi I use this scanner and have used it under 24 hour use and it suffered no problems what so ever.
Hello, Great video please can you tell me if this unit has an headphone socket. TIA.
You can insert an external speaker I had one of these before I plan on getting another one they're very good scanners
Hi there great video any advice be great I have UHF vhf scanners what's band is this currently recieving
Hi Shaun. Both VHF and UHF, check the frequencies shown on the display.
Is any of this or other equipment still available?
Mooie scanner wel weet iemand of er ook Nederlandse filmpjes van deze scanner zijn?
Has this scanner got close call ?
yes it has close call
What where you listening two?
hi, was just wondering if you were using the indoor arial for this? if so what kind of range does it have?
Hi, we had this connected to an outdoor antenna (Watson W-30). For best results you always want to try and use an external antenna if possible.
Very nice thank you..

Is he louder than ubc69xlt2 ?
About the same really, the UBC355CLT may be a little louder but for a mobile/base scanner it could do with having a bit more volume.
I love this scanner, gotta buy it.
Bought one today!! wouldn't pick anything up. Using supplied indoor aerial is that normal. I couldn't get anything and wouldn't auto scan properly. Sent it back
Have you had any luck picking any thing up m8 just want to know as thinking about getting one I'm in weat lothian
No sent it back...
What's the price on these?
Alan Measels £75 on Amazon
I don't know much about euros but in American dollars its definitely not cheap
hi can you pick up ambulance police I take it you are in the UK
You can't listen to emergency services as they use tetra and therefore encrypted
Scanner's are dead these days unless you stay near an airport . I get nothing on marine band even though I'm close to a harbour my military scan between 220 and 400 MHz picks up nothing even when there's jets in the area my guess is there using sat Comms these days . Coastguard are maybe using there own frequently . Don't bother buying one that's my advice .
You wrong, I was listening briefly to F15 fighter jets from Lakenheath today over Wales, I’m based in Wales on a handheld.
@@mikeparto6565 did you perhaps have the correct frequently because it is a large band width to search through . I spent hours searching when there was a military air operation going on and got nothing I can pick up civilian aircraft ok .
@@neilcampbell4833 yes only scanning a handful of frequencies purely for military, including West icf and NATO low level

Time-waster!!!! Typical CB radio person. Nothing to do with explaining the product. Just consult your instruction manual and you know everything.
If you use the uniden in usa its way different than in the uk
