I love when Drake tap into his super lyrical underground roots this circa 2006-2007( Room for Improvement and Comeback Season). They said that Toronto's murder rate jumped higher than New York City. We all know Drake is as powerful as the prime minister in Toronto and has crew members served time for gun crimes. The Police and Community was mad because Drake didn't cooperate with the investigation of the murder of his homie who was gunned down on camera. This definitely plays well with the title of this song "Omerta", which is the oath of silence in the mafia.

The reason what pusha said isn’t gossip is because he broke drake down. He didn’t just regurgitate rumors. Pusha saying drake is doing to women what his dad did to his mom isn’t listing gossip. It’s deconstructing who drake is as a person, especially compared to the image Drake sells. You can tell from Pushas appearance on joe buddens podcast that he his is who he is. Pusha is a grown ass man, with his core values solidified. While drake is definitely winning in general, he may not be winning personally, like in those moments where you have to look yourself in the mirror.
