I always say, we gotta work so might as well smile and have fun while we are doing it. it gets hot and dirty sometimes but coukd be much worse! it's 95 degrees here in Georgia today and I'm about to head to a customer to tear put and install new drywall in bathroom ceiling. glhot dusty attic above. haha. but she also wants to cut in a window in that bathroom with brick exterior. It's just stud with brick facade, very helpful video!

No DPC lining behind and under the sill?
I've seen a lot worse, but missing out DPC in the UK climate could lead to significant damp & cold issues in that area, especially if it's a north facing wall.

Brilliant just what I needed to see. Why didn't they want the same colour mortar though? And the window I wanted to see more images of when it was finished please. I don't understand the recess on the outside instead of it being flush to the bricks. Some images from inside also would have been brilliant also.
