Most people are good and kind. Some live in societies and are of a generation when our religious teachers told us animals have no souls or emotions and were only put on earth for our benefit.
They know no better. Even Jesus Christ was supposed to have out devils from a possessed man into some pigs so that they all jumped off a cliff into the sea. 2 problems with this. 1 why did Israel have so many pig herders in the 1st place? 2. Pigs are highly intelligent animals so why not just let the possessed man jump off the cliff?
