It’s me, the guy who has given you some interesting story ideas in the comment section of your "Of Monsters & Sons" video, and I thank you for the newest video. It was fun to watch. Love the new update of information on House Orlok. It’s nice to see Tom Bridges again, joining the newest ragtag crew of vampires in town. Can’t wait to see their next adventure. White Ronin and the Specter were pretty cool too.
I’ll give you some story ideas to think about in return, stuff to think about. I’ve done a little research. We all know that the Kitsunes can shapeshift and can act like succubi, but those aren’t the only powers they possess. I heard words from a Kitsune horror story video, made by a RUclipsr called "Wartime Stories," that they can “bend time and space, drive people mad, or take fantastic shapes such as a tree of incredible height or a second moon in the sky.” I could imagine they are the House Ashik’Ari of the shapeshifter breeds, wise and intelligent. I know not if they are more powerful than Nosferatu of the House of the Owl, but I am certain that these foxe spirits are masters of illusions and manipulation, knowledgeable in strange oriental magics that only they know.
As for the Kushtaka, I also heard words that they have powers similar to that of a kitsune’s. They have telepathic abilities, and like a Kitsune, they can mess with your mind, especially if you anger them. A sentence from the description of a books about them says that “The Kushtaka seem to have a special hatred for those who do not take them seriously and laugh at the Kushtaka as if they are a joke.” I think these tricksters are usually like this, but I don’t think all of them act that way. Like humans, I assume that they have their own thoughts and feelings. The impression I got from the world of Dreadford is that it is full of violent monstrous competitors that fight for the land, but I reckon the Kushtaka of Lake Dreadford flourishes in the safety of its waters, like a herbivore in a fertile land with no predators and rivals, if it is the only thing that’s makes a home in this lake. Your world, your rules.
Hey there! Of course we remember you! Thanks for all this info and for your support. You really seem to know your Dreadford lore and that's awesome. I have to admit I am a huge fan of Kitsunes myself. You better believe there is one prowling the night in these wretched streets. Stay sharp, because the first time she appears you won't even notice. I think that the Kushtaka lives in the surrounding area of Lake Dreadford playing tricks on fishermen, but he has to fend off other creatures that inhabit the lake, those are treacherous waters and people go missing there.
