the skill i'd nerf is bride catria's triangle attack, that has caused so many problems in AR that it's stupid. as for the unit, bector, the only thing i'd get rid of is his armor effective null. It's stupid that i built several units to counter bector that have armor effectiveness all getting made completely useless when he's no longer effected by armorslaying
I was lucky enough to get normal Lucina merge on my 2nd summon, Legendary Deirdre my 7th summon (she was +spd -res), legendary Fae on my 19th summon, and another Deirdre on my 20th summon.
Agreed about the true damage reduction. I have a +0 +Def Askr and regularly tank entire AR teams with support. Add a Far Save unit and he is basically unbeatable. And he is a top tier support unit to boot.

So while it's basically illegal to nerf/neuter units right after they're released (without heavy compensation and it has to be almost immediately a few days after) as JPN gacha laws state; the best we can do is hope for the addition of newer counter skills or map designs/structures. Balancing can happen, but with the nature how feh works, we can't exactly balance units. If they're overpowered in one area, theyre just going to be allocated to another area to be overpowered with. All I can say is that we need: 1. some support unit with "Drive Deflect" damage reduction. 2. False start to not be Astra season locked. Like put it on another seasonal 3. Units or skills that debuff the opponent for every step they take -kind of like the opposite of B. Seliph. And like saying if they moved their max movement (and it's at least 3) and their special is charged, inflicts +1 cool down on foe before their first attack. 4. In general not be so slow at bringing out fodder skills. Like Still water 3. Tempo being special unit locked....
#Question, since they are really pushing canon love interests of main lords for legendaries as of late. Who would you want to see get a legendary alt who fits into that category?

Thanks for another great summoning video! Hopefully you will have much better luck in your next summoning session. I just did a free summon and got no 5*. As for the QOTD, I don't know if it needs to be nerfed considering there are options to defeat them or a nerf would occur, but incredibly bulky Far Save/Near Save tanks that come together in a team I always struggle against.

#QOTD I would get rid of all forms of extra movement. The moment FEH went this way, they opened the doors for the worst types of powercreep. Honestly, I'm surprised they didn't just not stop after the Legendary Azura backlash, but started making more and more skills giving extra movement. FEH with its small maps just isn't the right environment for this, and look at the meta now - it's F!Edelgard, Yuri, L!Sigurd, all forms of Pathfinder and units made specifically to counter them. Compared to this, Saves and Canto seem perfectly fair IMO, as annoying as they are

I summoned three of Legendary Fae, two of Legendary Myrrh, and two of Legendary Deirdre. Focusing on blue stones isn't the advised summoning method at all on these banners lol, but I didn't have Fae yet and more merges for Myrrh is welcomed. I'm satisfied!

I agree with you Pheonix, they should be cautious with the true damage reduction. Right now it's fine, since it's in two units that have clear weakness (even though perhaps a bit too strong on Askr). After all there are units that can simple tank by sheer stats and healing, but still. They could go too far and then a counter skill will be needed...as always.

Had to spark for Deirdre but I didn't mind at all. Love her so much! For my playstyle, Deirdre's conditions from her weapons are perfect for me and easily attainable.

I gave 724 f2p orbs to this banner, almost finished my L! F! Corrin (got her up to +9) and was blessed with a lot of Ash (she's at +6 now), also got some useful stuff in the way (Rhea, Gustav and a Silque), but then a certain Chicken ended my 11% pity rate. I got pretty lucky anyway though! One thing I would nerf in this game is the increased scoring of Duo units. They shouldn't have the artificial bst like pair up legendary units have imo. Update: I got my last Corrin after a couple of days along with another Rhea! All f2p. Pretty great stuff.

Bridal Catria and make it so Triangle Attack only works on Fliers, so it's much more limited in who can use it and use it well. (Eitri, V!Palla, and anyone with NFU comes to mind.)

I do think deadeye and lethality should pierce all damage reduction, not just %. It would nerf true reduction a bit, and also the miracle effects coming out recently, while not making deadeye particularly broken.
Heh, I won’t be summoning for a bit after being burned by the double special banner. Think I spent 140ish orbs sniping for green, and the only 2 times I _didn’t_ get a green stone is when I pulled a 5*. Can you believe that? :L Thanks for the content PM1!
I had some absurd luck on this banner. In 170 orbs I got two Ash and two L!Corrins. I also got 1 Thorr and 1 Velouria and finally I sparked another Thorr.
Congrats on your free Pirate Veronica! I honestly miss the pirates, I wish they did that again instead of the Phantom Thieves. I do like the Phantom Thieves theme, but I love me some pirates. Summoned a little to try and get Deirdre and Fallen Rhea, but no luck. Which is fine because I wanted to focus more on CYL6, where I managed to get up to +3 Brave Chrom. So I think I'll be done summoning for now and going back to saving orbs for when Brave Chrom returns, or when they finally stop being cowards and add Athos as a Mythic unit. I know this is going to sound dumb, but I would like Fallen Edel to be nerfed just a little, like get rid of her healing after combat. Coupled with literally all of the other things she gets when she's transformed or not, she is still a really tough unit to kill. Even if she does have a bunch of counters now, she's still the most annoying unit to face against.

I like tactic drills because they are demo versions of the units. I can use it and hear all the voice lines=). I am sorry you had to spark Deirdre. Hopefully, the next legendary banner will be nicer to you=)
Question: Do you think they would actually nerf units in this game? People spend money to get these units so changing them could cause a backlash. Do you think they would issue a refund or at least return the orbs if you could somehow give the unit back? In Fortnite if epic changes a skin you already purchased they do offer a return/refund if you don't like the change.
Personally, as nice as they are for PVE content, I think save skills should be nerfed. Maybe make them not give stats, or make it so it's only within one space so you actually have to position wisely. I think they're rather brainless, and they tend to be objectively better than a lot of different defensive strategies.
I think they should have actually significant penalties, like if they gave the attacker desperation, or NFU, or if it prevents the user from counter attacking, or stops the users specials from charging or disables the users DR%. (And ideally disabled work arounds to these kinds of effects) Something that makes Save units exploitable, and not just capable of being completely flexible to all kinds of attackers.

It's very hard to nerf a unit, especially with how the game is continuously pumping out better and better units. I can see why Spring Maria, and maybe Fallen Edelgard or Yuri, but I've played (and still play) card games that have similar/ more stupid/ more damaging levels of powercreep (the levels that make Spring Maria look like a bump in the road). I do think that some older units should actually be buffed more (anything year 1-2 needs heavy investment to be competitive in most cases): Giving all the first year refines a further refine with a Tier 4 skill would be nice as well as reducing the cost of the original one. #Questions [main questions are in these] - Starting with the Midpoint Letizia banner and continuing into the Ymir and more banner, we've seen IS move from having 3 new units to 2 new units from main titles. While Blazing Blade has a good chunk of units not in FEH, the same cannot be said for Echoes. Echoes has 3 units officially not in FEH (Jesse, Nomah, and Mycen), and 5 units in FEH but either in the seasonal pool/ grail shop (Clive, Deen, Tobin, and Conrad with Rudolph as a good option for a fill in) totaling 8. [How would you stretch the units to make the most Ascended banners, and how do you think IS will do it: Combining games for banners/ making banners with more than one Ascended unit, perhaps with all Ascended units/ adding seasonals to the normal pool through these banners...? - Is there a series (anime, manga, other game...) that you would want as a collab in FEH so badly that your wallet would be threatened? - Speaking on collabs, in your opinion, what advantages does FEH have over other games by not doing them? - I don't use the Shards/ Crystals, and think that the purpose they provide isn't worth much. If you could exchange these for any other type of item in FEH, what would your top 3 picks be for those items? What restrictions would you put on those items? What would be the exchange rate for those items? (This one may be the easier of my questions, so this one I would like answered first.)
Can't nerf, though. Pretty sure that causes legal issues, since people pay money for her. That's the issue with powercreep in a gacha like this. Best they can do is make other characters relatively the same in power level while adding counters.

People under rating Hugh so much, he's got pretty good bulk and he is always guaranteed to double with high Speed, and even if he doesn't with some of the armoured knights for example, he one shots them.
I don't know what unit I would want nerfed, but skill-wise, I think we could tone down the brave weapons. Coming from someone with an Unmerged Ninja Laevatein who still can hold her own in Light Season, even against Medeus, I'm kinda glad it's not a more common occurence. The only other siginificant brave users are this Summer Banner and Valentia Palla, all of which are scary with just those 2 hits alone. It's kinda why I hope we dont have another Ninja Banner.
If I could nerf a skill it would be holy knight aura. Granting +1 movement to the entire team is way too broken and it forced the introduction of the way too overtuned safety fence structure. Also, rip PM1 luck, mine wasn't any better, 180 orbs for 1 fallen female corrin (4* special), 1 fae (37th summon) and sparked deirdre...
The character I'd nerf is easily F! Edelgard. She single-handedly redefined the meta into characters before her, which are now essentially obsolete as they stand no chance against her, and characters after her, which can beat her but still need to always be wary of her presence, as well the fortunate few older characters that received refines after her introduction. F!Edelgard is the primary reason why FEH needs inheritable "beast effective" weapons asap, as well as skills that can manually add the crit stat to other characters that are otherwise practically hopeless against her.
Nerfing things is a big ask because they’d literally never directly do it, no matter how obnoxious a character is. But with how the trend it going, i just wish you could play a version of summoner duels where Duo and Harmonic units are banned. Duo/harmonic skills are universally useful at least for stalling, but a few of them have duo skills that are legitimately hard to deal with, or otherwise shut down certain teams, and it doesn’t help that duo units are universally units that IS really likes to stack. If I had to nerf a single unit? Idk, maybe I’d remove Duo Thorr’s free stall effect, exposer is strong too, but just stall can shut down certain units way too easily, I get that she has debuffing cause of loki, but that being the case, she can keep exposure and she’d still be really strong, I just don’t like how limiting she is and how she is limiting for free. At lest with Reiv you have to run a unit with underwhelming combat to get stall. Duo Thorr would still be extremely easy to use and extremely powerful without having stall. As for specific mechanics, the Damage subtraction of units like Maria and Askr is certainly concerning, considering that it’s only a matter of it being on a unit with an easy enough time stacking it or abusing it before it becomes really busted, so I agree with that, but also I wish saves skills had been created with inherent, exploitable flaws, like they completely prevent a user from countering, or disable a unit’s follow up prevention/guarantee a foe’s follow up or they’re incapable of receiving support from allies. Or otherwise have some exploitable flaw that makes it easier to build a catch-all nuke to all far or near saves. Rather than each armor unit being able to be bulky in different flexible ways. Save units would still be good with those kinds of debuffs, they would just be a lot less capable of completely walling a specific kind if team because you didn’t bring a specific counter to a specific far/near save.
As a b!claude fan, I would nerf fatal smoke so it does not work during combat. Its still baffling to me with the release of tier 4 smokes that only fatal smoke works in combat
I just wantet 2 copies of corrin, so i can spark for my last copy for +10. I got 9 Ashs and 5 Rheas before i got my second copy. I mean its not bad too have a +9 ash or unity fodder and near save for the rest of my life but it did cost my 780 f2p orbs😢
who would you say is the best spark in this banner? i got a F!Rhea (+def/-res) and a L!Deirdre (+res/-atk), both with good IVs but need some IV fixing, and also got 2 L!Myrrhs (could make her a merge project) I'm a f2p who ocasionally get the feh pass and rn I can spark on this one
Their IVs are not a huge problem, I use the same IV Frhea in Vault of Heaven. Sparking Thorr/Ash for mythic merges could help if you play AR otherwise Fallen Gustav for his top tier fodder.
@@Pheonixmaster1tough choiche to make! I love playing AR and thorr merges would come rly in handy, since I'm training the galeforce strategies. At the same time, F!Rhea seems to be the harder one to obtain later. Also, still trying to achieve that lvl 21 in Arena and the lack of merges in Legendaries has been the main problem I guess.
@@afonsopellenz8007 thorr comes back in feburary. Rhea is in the normal pool and the fallen banner will most likely come back/she can be a focus on skill banners or something like that.
Personally I wouldn't really nerf units either unless they're like legendary sigurd or 2021 fedel annoying. I'd rather have f2p units and demotes just be more viable in the meta like summer claude. Also have re-refines for units that haven't aged well and/or got their refines before gen 5/6/7
I honestly would like to nerf the movement skills. Cavs being able to move 4 spaces with Sigurd and canto paired up with the powercreep meta taking off after fallen Edelgard with units that have 1000 effects kinda ruined the game for me and I stopped touching AR since then. Summer Edelgard is so OP with that movement skill that's amazing for armors This is a great banner for fodder and blue is stacked. Too bad I'm out of orbs after +10ing CYL Byleth, otherwise I would've pulled a couple on blue and colorless because I'm 1 merge away from my +10 Corrin project I've been working on since her debut.

The only characters I wanted were L Corrin, Myrrh, and maybe Deirdre. Got Corrin after three summons. I may try again later to get Myrrh and Deirdre.

Fatal Smoke is absolutely the one skill that needs to be nerfed; a Smoke skill should NEVER take effect in the combat that triggers it.

I agree with you Pheonix, they should be cautious with the true damage reduction. Right now it's fine, since it's in two units that have clear weakness (even though perhaps a bit too strong on Askr). After all there are units that can simple tank by sheer stats and healing, but still. They could go too far and then a counter skill will be needed...as always.

Had to spark for Deirdre but I didn't mind at all. Love her so much! For my playstyle, Deirdre's conditions from her weapons are perfect for me and easily attainable.
#Question - What are your thoughts on mythics till the end of the year? Do you think we'll get double red mythics in november as in Elm and Embla? I'm leaning towards forgetting about Reginn, as she is only +1, and saving for Embla in hope she gives atk as well.
I gave 724 f2p orbs to this banner, almost finished my L! F! Corrin (got her up to +9) and was blessed with a lot of Ash (she's at +6 now), also got some useful stuff in the way (Rhea, Gustav and a Silque), but then a certain Chicken ended my 11% pity rate. I got pretty lucky anyway though!
One thing I would nerf in this game is the increased scoring of Duo units. They shouldn't have the artificial bst like pair up legendary units have imo.
Update: I got my last Corrin after a couple of days along with another Rhea! All f2p. Pretty great stuff.

#Question why do you think IS is afraid of using non-default face/hair for Robin and Corrin? It made sense for the original versions, but we have so many alts now that it would help them feel new. Do you think they should try other appearances in the future?
I skipped the Red and did well in 41 pulls. Ash, Rhea, Corrin x2, Gustav, Minerva promote, Sirus promote, Camilla promote, and sparked for Deirdre.
I do think deadeye and lethality should pierce all damage reduction, not just %. It would nerf true reduction a bit, and also the miracle effects coming out recently, while not making deadeye particularly broken.
Heh, I won’t be summoning for a bit after being burned by the double special banner. Think I spent 140ish orbs sniping for green, and the only 2 times I _didn’t_ get a green stone is when I pulled a 5*. Can you believe that? :L

I had some absurd luck on this banner. In 170 orbs I got two Ash and two L!Corrins. I also got 1 Thorr and 1 Velouria and finally I sparked another Thorr.

Congrats on your free Pirate Veronica! I honestly miss the pirates, I wish they did that again instead of the Phantom Thieves. I do like the Phantom Thieves theme, but I love me some pirates.
Summoned a little to try and get Deirdre and Fallen Rhea, but no luck. Which is fine because I wanted to focus more on CYL6, where I managed to get up to +3 Brave Chrom. So I think I'll be done summoning for now and going back to saving orbs for when Brave Chrom returns, or when they finally stop being cowards and add Athos as a Mythic unit.
I know this is going to sound dumb, but I would like Fallen Edel to be nerfed just a little, like get rid of her healing after combat. Coupled with literally all of the other things she gets when she's transformed or not, she is still a really tough unit to kill. Even if she does have a bunch of counters now, she's still the most annoying unit to face against.

I like tactic drills because they are demo versions of the units. I can use it and hear all the voice lines=). I am sorry you had to spark Deirdre. Hopefully, the next legendary banner will be nicer to you=)

Question: Do you think they would actually nerf units in this game? People spend money to get these units so changing them could cause a backlash. Do you think they would issue a refund or at least return the orbs if you could somehow give the unit back?
In Fortnite if epic changes a skin you already purchased they do offer a return/refund if you don't like the change.
Personally, as nice as they are for PVE content, I think save skills should be nerfed. Maybe make them not give stats, or make it so it's only within one space so you actually have to position wisely. I think they're rather brainless, and they tend to be objectively better than a lot of different defensive strategies.
I think they should have actually significant penalties, like if they gave the attacker desperation, or NFU, or if it prevents the user from counter attacking, or stops the users specials from charging or disables the users DR%. (And ideally disabled work arounds to these kinds of effects)
Something that makes Save units exploitable, and not just capable of being completely flexible to all kinds of attackers.
agreed... ever since I have several save units, all the abyssal maps have been a joke. IS ruining their own map designs with cheesing units.

It's very hard to nerf a unit, especially with how the game is continuously pumping out better and better units. I can see why Spring Maria, and maybe Fallen Edelgard or Yuri, but I've played (and still play) card games that have similar/ more stupid/ more damaging levels of powercreep (the levels that make Spring Maria look like a bump in the road).
I do think that some older units should actually be buffed more (anything year 1-2 needs heavy investment to be competitive in most cases): Giving all the first year refines a further refine with a Tier 4 skill would be nice as well as reducing the cost of the original one.
#Questions [main questions are in these]
- Starting with the Midpoint Letizia banner and continuing into the Ymir and more banner, we've seen IS move from having 3 new units to 2 new units from main titles. While Blazing Blade has a good chunk of units not in FEH, the same cannot be said for Echoes. Echoes has 3 units officially not in FEH (Jesse, Nomah, and Mycen), and 5 units in FEH but either in the seasonal pool/ grail shop (Clive, Deen, Tobin, and Conrad with Rudolph as a good option for a fill in) totaling 8. [How would you stretch the units to make the most Ascended banners, and how do you think IS will do it: Combining games for banners/ making banners with more than one Ascended unit, perhaps with all Ascended units/ adding seasonals to the normal pool through these banners...?
- Is there a series (anime, manga, other game...) that you would want as a collab in FEH so badly that your wallet would be threatened?
- Speaking on collabs, in your opinion, what advantages does FEH have over other games by not doing them?
- I don't use the Shards/ Crystals, and think that the purpose they provide isn't worth much. If you could exchange these for any other type of item in FEH, what would your top 3 picks be for those items? What restrictions would you put on those items? What would be the exchange rate for those items? (This one may be the easier of my questions, so this one I would like answered first.)
I would nerf B!Eirika in some way. She's just too oppressive. Removing the Tempo effect she gets would make her easily more bearable.
Can't nerf, though. Pretty sure that causes legal issues, since people pay money for her. That's the issue with powercreep in a gacha like this.
Best they can do is make other characters relatively the same in power level while adding counters.

People under rating Hugh so much, he's got pretty good bulk and he is always guaranteed to double with high Speed, and even if he doesn't with some of the armoured knights for example, he one shots them.

I don't know what unit I would want nerfed, but skill-wise, I think we could tone down the brave weapons. Coming from someone with an Unmerged Ninja Laevatein who still can hold her own in Light Season, even against Medeus, I'm kinda glad it's not a more common occurence. The only other siginificant brave users are this Summer Banner and Valentia Palla, all of which are scary with just those 2 hits alone. It's kinda why I hope we dont have another Ninja Banner.

Granting +1 movement to the entire team is way too broken and it forced the introduction of the way too overtuned safety fence structure.

The character I'd nerf is easily F! Edelgard. She single-handedly redefined the meta into characters before her, which are now essentially obsolete as they stand no chance against her, and characters after her, which can beat her but still need to always be wary of her presence, as well the fortunate few older characters that received refines after her introduction. F!Edelgard is the primary reason why FEH needs inheritable "beast effective" weapons asap, as well as skills that can manually add the crit stat to other characters that are otherwise practically hopeless against her.
I free summoned legendary Mryhh and 20 orbs later got Fae!

Nerfing things is a big ask because they’d literally never directly do it, no matter how obnoxious a character is. But with how the trend it going, i just wish you could play a version of summoner duels where Duo and Harmonic units are banned. Duo/harmonic skills are universally useful at least for stalling, but a few of them have duo skills that are legitimately hard to deal with, or otherwise shut down certain teams, and it doesn’t help that duo units are universally units that IS really likes to stack.
If I had to nerf a single unit? Idk, maybe I’d remove Duo Thorr’s free stall effect, exposer is strong too, but just stall can shut down certain units way too easily, I get that she has debuffing cause of loki, but that being the case, she can keep exposure and she’d still be really strong, I just don’t like how limiting she is and how she is limiting for free. At lest with Reiv you have to run a unit with underwhelming combat to get stall. Duo Thorr would still be extremely easy to use and extremely powerful without having stall.
As for specific mechanics, the Damage subtraction of units like Maria and Askr is certainly concerning, considering that it’s only a matter of it being on a unit with an easy enough time stacking it or abusing it before it becomes really busted, so I agree with that, but also I wish saves skills had been created with inherent, exploitable flaws, like they completely prevent a user from countering, or disable a unit’s follow up prevention/guarantee a foe’s follow up or they’re incapable of receiving support from allies. Or otherwise have some exploitable flaw that makes it easier to build a catch-all nuke to all far or near saves. Rather than each armor unit being able to be bulky in different flexible ways. Save units would still be good with those kinds of debuffs, they would just be a lot less capable of completely walling a specific kind if team because you didn’t bring a specific counter to a specific far/near save.
As a b!claude fan, I would nerf fatal smoke so it does not work during combat. Its still baffling to me with the release of tier 4 smokes that only fatal smoke works in combat
I just wantet 2 copies of corrin, so i can spark for my last copy for +10. I got 9 Ashs and 5 Rheas before i got my second copy. I mean its not bad too have a +9 ash or unity fodder and near save for the rest of my life but it did cost my 780 f2p orbs😢

i got a F!Rhea (+def/-res) and a L!Deirdre (+res/-atk), both with good IVs but need some IV fixing, and also got 2 L!Myrrhs (could make her a merge project)

Their IVs are not a huge problem, I use the same IV Frhea in Vault of Heaven. Sparking Thorr/Ash for mythic merges could help if you play AR otherwise Fallen Gustav for his top tier fodder.

At the same time, F!Rhea seems to be the harder one to obtain later. Also, still trying to achieve that lvl 21 in Arena and the lack of merges in Legendaries has been the main problem I guess.
@@afonsopellenz8007 thorr comes back in feburary. Rhea is in the normal pool and the fallen banner will most likely come back/she can be a focus on skill banners or something like that.

Personally I wouldn't really nerf units either unless they're like legendary sigurd or 2021 fedel annoying. I'd rather have f2p units and demotes just be more viable in the meta like summer claude. Also have re-refines for units that haven't aged well and/or got their refines before gen 5/6/7

I honestly would like to nerf the movement skills. Cavs being able to move 4 spaces with Sigurd and canto paired up with the powercreep meta taking off after fallen Edelgard with units that have 1000 effects kinda ruined the game for me and I stopped touching AR since then. Summer Edelgard is so OP with that movement skill that's amazing for armors
