Omg. As a child of a Congolese family, I can tell you, everything that you've shown is 100% true. African do not like to lose they NEED to win! And when they lose, they make a big scene about it and they cannot and will not stop dancing when everything is over, it's so true. This is too funny xD Keep doing what you're doing!

I've seen my African friends make facial expressions like that in normal, every day conversation. It's awesome how expressive African people seem to be in general.
I'm 8 years late to this video, but I love it! I'm glad it's still up and that it happened to appear on my suggestions. In US Navy boot camp, I noticed huge differences between different cultures (but more similarities). This was an excellent example of what I observed. I, too, enjoy watching people. Especially facial expressions while dancing. And yeah, the people who are "killing it" don't have pretty or sexy expressions on their faces (as typically identified), but I feel them thoroughly enjoying the music and the moment. I, unfortunately, have 2 left feet and no toes when it comes to dancing! So, I just exaggerate the movements of people around me for giggles.
Man...I'm African and you are so right about everything! The facial expressions, the hopping, the jumping and we sometimes do the kicking as well. Watch out for the somersault!
The hop is good, but I love 'the drop' (looks like one's knee got injured, they are about to fall, but oh know, they come back up dancing harder than ever!)
hahaha!!!! I can't!!! this is too funny, you should see Haitians at a party, when our song comes on if you hear someone say "whoosh" or "woii" step the hell BACK!

Africans are the best dancer. We feel the music beat and everything
this is very relatable

I like the African dance the most!! People of Africa have magic in their dancing and I even like the faces they make.. !! Nice video
This is me to a T! Kenyan music is different and we may dance different but we do the same. Apart from the hopping, when you see someone looking like they are about to trip over themselves, just know they are about to bring it! Also the "ai ai ai ai. we weeee!" The song has lodged itself in my bones
lol ' they move with the words instead of the beat ' lmmaaoo funny xD
Hahahaha! This is so true but that white people part. I think you were a bit too on the beat, usually they are always offbeat! 😂😂
"music has possessed them"😭😭
That jump! Yesss its a sign i'm gonna kill it!😂😂
The best part of an African dance is the facial expression and body movements. I love it!
I wish i could say this was a life but he speaks the truth!!!! Especially when Africans azonto you can see the facial expressions lol dont forget that clap that they do when they dance lol once again im going to be happy for the rest of the day cause i watched this lol. favorite part 5:15 - 5:47 :D
Cliff, you forgot to dance off beat for white people.
that is what I was thinking about lol he should have chose another song to make it look accurate
He said "they dance to the words". "Not the beat"
Shut up. 🙄
Joel Lloyd Opps, someone is triggered!
OMG!!!! That Spanish dance!!
You’re a funny and enlightening guy. Expressive and made me laugh too. Next time I see my Congolese brothers hop I’ll step back, smile and move with the lyrics 🤣😂🤪
Well after dancing 6 hours straight with 1,000 Africans I can attest to these facts!!! My legs are killing while my African friends are going to after parties !! 😂😭
