Absolutely true about transitions, when you begin you just slap it on every time possible. Once you get more accustomed to editing you use them only when they enhance the video.
The simpler the better and less is more

Wow, finally a clear and honest tutorial. I have only been using the software for 1 day, after many years of Filmora, and I am quite satisfied. However, I miss, for example, straightening the horizon, leveling an obliquely filmed video image, removing the background of a person and automatically lowering the sound of music when I comment on the screen. Thanks for the useful tips. Greetings Eddy (Belgium)

Awesome video bro! But, everyone keeps saying it is FREE but it is not, it used to be free but now you can only use some of the features for free. For example, I used captions last week, when I was exporting it, it told me that it was a PRO feature and didn't export it. I ended up buying it for 75 dollars for a year. But to be honest, I think it's worth it!
One thing that I hope they will add is that it cuts the video by each beat automatically so that I can apply different transitions and effects. Currently, you have to manually split the video. No big deal for short videos but time consuming for long ones.
And also I wished it would have an option to add the same transition on all split-videos automatically.
Anyway, keep up the good work!

    • @JorisHermans

First of all, thanks for the comment! 🙏🏻🔥 but I don't understand... I just updated to the latest FREE version, used auto captions on a 10-minute video and exported in 4K without any problems. Are you using the mobile version or desktop? 🤔
