if you know the inner details about the professional dance community you know we are raised to be extremely respectful and professional because our teachers ect will throw us out of class and stop giving us jobs if we show a lack of respect. we are also used to having people beat our faces. Maddie especially is probably very aware how to be neutral, respectful, and passive because she is in the literal lime light (on TV, in music videos and magazines, starring in movies- not just her own channel she does what she wants with)

daenerys targaren definitely good parenting is key and you don't need to be a dancer to be raised right- young professional dancers just are held to VERY high expectations or weeded out of the highly competive world VERY fast. I just know in my case my instructor was pretty much my second mother, as I was in practice 4 hours minimum daily and she had a huge influence on my behavior. being a tough Russian immigrant ballerina made her exceptionally serious on us and we knew better than to even attempt to speak back. I'm sure Abby (dance mom's instructor) holds her girls to just as high a standard.

I feel like (if you watched Patrick Starrr doing Maddie) he did a look for maddie that was good for a 14 year old. James did like a very BOLD cool look, I know they sorta explained it in the beginning but maddie on her channel sorta was explains how she doesn't wear a lot of makeup (because she doesn't need to) she's 14, that's just what I noticed (and I feel like Patrick was more outgoing and making her laugh more.
