Succinct and informative. Thank you, you answered most of my questions about this breed!
Glad it was helpful!
This is glorious, I have been researching "quail for eggs" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Eeyila Rudimentary Expediency - (do a google search ) ? It is a smashing one of a kind product for discovering how to raise healthy and fertile quail minus the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my friend got amazing success with it.
, beautiful quails thanks from morocco
I had no idea white feathers were easier to pluck. is that due to the lack of melanin or coloring in the feather shaft? thats so interesting. and here i just liked the color never figured it had a practical function
No they don't pluck easier.
@@ClayCB this. They're not easier to pluck. It meant easier to process, as the root of the feather is more passable by the consumer's eye test. With dark color feather, you need to completely pluck out the roots = more labor.
I'm interested in raising quail as pets. I'm hoping to keep 2 to 3. Can you tell me where to find or purchase Texas A & M Quail?
I typically suggest finding a local breeder, some flea markets have poultry breeders, additionally some online hatcheries have them. Good luck!
@@GKGPoultry I live in Oxon Hill MD and haven't had much success locally, but I'll keep looking. Thank you so much!
are these guys agressive to each other like the brown coturnix quail?
Yes, unfortunately they are just as aggressive
Can the a&m's bred the browns and have fertile eggs?
They can, they are really the same bird, just separate strains.
Thanks
Do you deliver it to Pakistan
Are they white meat or just white feathers? I thought all quail were dark meat.
They have dark meat with just white feathers.

@@GKGPoultry So Texas A&M quail is the biggest breed available right now? Does their egg bigger or still similar size?
@@lukeryuzaki2328 The gumbo corturnix is the largest breed of quail. Their eggs are larger but A&M eggs are normal sized compared to most quail.
How can u tell male from female in white quail!?
Hopefully, I will be making a video on it soon, the gist of it is you tenderly press down under their vent(backend) and if a white foam comes out it is a male. The foam is a preservative for reproduction. Hope this helps.
Texas Precision Poultry, Please make a video showing the sexing of these Texas A&M quail.
Can I realize blue scales and a & m together ?
They can be raised together so long are they are raised from young together.
