    I did tear up when a stem broke off the 2 stem plant I just bought! So glad you explained. Fingers crossed she makes it!

    I have mine in soil I got from on top of the cliffs where a lot of spruce trees grow, my plants seem to thrive in this soil and I mix a little perlite or orchid bark in the soil.

    Thankyou for such an informative description of this plant . I brought one last week sold as a terrarium plant so is very tiny but I, like you, enjoy watching the growing process so will repot as time goes on. It doesn't need to be with other plants, it has it's own beauty.
