Wet Walk in Fitz Park Feb 2021

Heavy, overnight rain left the beck running high as we went out for our morning constitutional around Fitz Park listening to the early morning bird song. You can see by the debris "tide marks" on the grass, that the water levels have dropped. The rain eased to a steady drizzle but surface water was to be found covering footpaths. A little Dipper was spotted on the far side of the beck, it wasn't bothered at all about the high water levels as it dipped into the foaming beck and popped up again. Hopefully the rain will give way to better weather in the coming days.
