I was born 2 years before this man and lama, was brought up in a Christian faith, but then chose a different path, but it was only after a near fatal accident six years ago, that I discovered Buddhism, and Lama Yeshe's little brown pocket book, "When the Chocote Runs Out", has been beside my bed and in my daypack since, and now I am so happy I have found his teachings on You Tube.
ok. fair enough. now i'm getting the picture. I am one hour and seven minutes into this presentation. there is much to learn. so much for that idea. this lama wants to make you work for this information that he is handing out. he wants you to get with the program. if you really want to hear what he is saying you had better prepare yourself for long periods of his not saying a word. this is the first time I have ever seen anything like this. but this is my conclusion. he wants you to have patience in spades. you had better have patience in spades or you will walk away from this presentation for the simple reason that he is taking a lifetime to give you the information. i'll come back to this when I am ready to go to sleep.
speaking of following idols. Just about every person I ever knew that claimed to be a Christian was following idols. They were not following Christ. That was very clear to me.
