    Sounds good, if the rain and clouds go away.

    I really like being able to step out of the house in flip flops and t shirt to stargaze. I also love the serenity before summer sunrises and listening to the birds waking up.

    As always, an excellent, accurate and non-sensational look at what’s up. Thank you! 🙏

      I really appreciate that, Alan! No need to sensationalize topics that are already incredible! Your books got me back into this hobby 15 years ago and I hope you are doing well.

    mars and saturn have both been a lot of fun to view the past month, although mars is still just too far and low to the horizon to get surface detail from my 8" dob 😅
    really excited for january next year to get some good views of it!

      Mars is going to be a treat later this year! It will be my first time viewing it at opposition with my new telescope! Keep up the observing and let us know what all you are seeing!

    Excellent look ahead, typical spring weather here, hoping June will bring a few clear nights.

      We were fortunate here with 3 clear nights last week. I was able to observe during 2 of them. The clouds have returned.

    Why does everyone forget M92 globular cluster in Hercules ??? It’s not as big and bright but it’s still very nice and easy to find nearby M13.

      A great addition to the list. I was out observing it for an astronomical league program late last week! Have you been out doing any observing or imaging lately?

    Since I’m on the other side of the world, will I be able to see the Aires meteor shower from Tokyo at night?

    • @LateNightAstronomy
      @LateNightAstronomy  Месяц назад

      Yes, the information in this video should match up with where you live pretty well. Just go out to look for it about an hour and a half before your local sunrise. I had the opportunity to spend a few weeks in Japan a number of years ago and really enjoyed my visit. I only spent a few hours in Tokyo before heading up to Sapporo for 10 days. Such a lovely country! Take care and clear skies!

      It was probably a satellite train. More than likely a the Space X Starlink. I took a video of one a few years back and posted it on the channel. They are an odd sight!
