    Well, the term "Dravidian" is coined by European travelers, but is all one Bharat indigenous people may be referred as Bharatians. The fragmented Bharat kingdoms deplored each other and the writers were mostly biased. However, archeology may be able to connect the dots. Thanks to archaeologists like Prof. Rao et al. I request the people to avoid using the word "Aryans" which was badly over-used and propagated by the invaders to diminish the Bharata culture.

      Dravida word means peninsula .it is a Geographical term which was wrongly misused by british to show division. Ancestry is same with north indians .including culture

    The term Dravida existed even before the arrival of the British
    Pancha dravida was.the term.used to refer to Tamilnadu ,kerala,Telugu desam,karnataka, and Maharashtra Maharashtra.
    Adi Sankara refers to Tirungnana Sambandr as Dravida Sisu.
    The Tamil language. Co existed with Sanskrt as a spoken language as referred by Sri Valmiki in the Sundara kandam
    Hanuman,when.he wanted to save Sita from suicide, selected Tamil which was a spoken language, because he.was afraid that she would mistake him.as Ravana

      Dravida is not a tribe or group .it literally means peninsula where three coasts meets . This word was wrongly coined by british.

    TAMIL IS DIFFERENT 'RACE'WAS INTRODUCED BY MISSIONARY J.POPE ,THIS WAS SAID BY DR.NAGASWAMI --EMINENT SANSKRIT AND TAMIL SCHOLAR AND ARCHIOLOGIST.

      Tamils are same harappans . North indians and other Southern states have same harappan ancestry. So we cannot say tamils are seperate race but unique race with major shared ancestry between other indian groups.
