Still, I can't save replays and scores from finished Extra runs, so it's a live run. And it's my very best run... And it's just awesome :P
Done with Reimu (because Patche is too OP). Overall difficulty: SCARLET HELL!
And I DID IT!!! FINALLY! It's just unbelievable for me that I managed this run to the end + with 3 lives remaining :D
I managed to capture spellcards that I wasn't able to capture last times. Also, I survived VERY LONG during last spell without bombing (to the last spell phase). So close to make this spellcard perfectly. Still, very nicely done :D

Spells captured: 1st, 3rd (!), 4th (!!), 5th and 8th. Last spellcard was VERY close to be captured (bombed only once!)
Difficulty: Extra (Hard/Lunatic)
Difficulty in stars: *****✪ (DANMAKU HELL!!)

I'm honestly more impressed by the developer's creativity. These patterns are really cool and must have taken a lot of balancing and work to make.
I love that they fit Flandre's style, too. I adore the Flandre fight because it's not fighting a strong opponent, it's roughhousing with a god. Look at her patterns. They're well balanced, yes, but they emphasise sheer offence over grace or tact. Violent stabbing motions, waving streams of bullets, waves of fire, it's clear she's just casually throwing strength at you without really trying too hard.

Balanced? YEAH. SURE. INSERT A GODDAMN 100% RNG BASED SPELLCARD. HMMMMMMMM. Btw its the russian roulette one. Its basically the coffin is a loaded gun. And will spin around on random speed. It could be fast or slow. The coffin will always be 1 spot that doesnt shoot. It will also be random. The empty coffin can be on one side, and on the exact opposite side the next turn. Or it could be the exact same spot as last time. It all comes down to RNG jesus.
The best of easier said than done. "Dodge the objects flying towards you."

It’s better to look in front of your character. That way you can see the whole board and you’ll know if a bullet is headed your way.
@@AdieuAlle I find it's best to focus on the area around your character intensely when making high-precision moves and the rest of the time flick your eyes around the screen to see the larger pattern. When you have a second of breathing room, also look for the boss to keep focusing fire.

The full title of Flan's theme roughly translates to "Who wants to get covered in blood? Who cares!"
At 60 FPS (which admittedly requires a high-end PC for some reason), that last spell is complete bullshit. Like, borderline Len'en Absurdly Extra level bullshit.
You can save the replay, just beat her then wait a sec, pause and hit save and return to menu. It is heartbreaking to invalidate the run in order to save the replay but still. So my computer jusst sucks and cant play the game at the fullest. Great. Here i was thinking i done good by nearly perfecting Flan with Marisa. Stupid 3rd card T.T
Also if you want to get better at Touhou, I recomend playing Marisa. I've improved SOOOOO much since i started playing her. Plus its nice to see marisa players instead of people playing Ms. Tiny hitbox Reimu.

About Marisa vs Reimu: Yup, Reimu is also easy because of her tiny hitbox and homing bullets. I don't play her so often, but I decided to use her in this run. Just because i wanted to. If you really hate Reimu so much (xd), I can make and record another video with Marisa. If you only want - challenges are welcome! (it still was VERY INSANE to make it even with Reimu...)

After at least 150 or 200+ attempts of this EX Stage, I finally got to Flandre's Final Spellcard. To find out that I am just paralyzed to do anything. Cannot even do anything. Only dodged Phase 1 of her Finale. I even managed to clear PCB's EX Stage (barely) and finally made it to here. This is insanely painful lol. I was really, Really, REALLY that close like half of her HP was gone and I died. Just goes to show that only pros can beat this with your number of lives in this run. How do one even I don't know. I even bomb spammed quite a number of times to even reach here. This is just great. Btw Legendja, IIRC you were planning to make a tips and tricks vid previously, You still working on it?
I had thought people had forgotten about this hellishly difficult and beautify made game. But a very impressive clear.

How hard i think the attacks are(never actually played any of the touhou games, but did play a few others with different controls and stuff, doing this for fun):
5:26 - kinda easy
5:51 - hard enough to be fun to dodg
6:06 - kinda easy-medium
6:44 - medium-fun
6:55 - fun-kinda hard
7:15 - *vindicate me playing in the background* medium-easy
7:28 - close to my limit, but probably can do
8:04 - hard, but nothing i can't do with a bit of practice(easier than the last one)
8:34 - easier version of 7:28
8:55 - pain
9:09 - runkiller
9:34 - too much going on my nonexistent ADHD already kicks in
10:00 - why is not too unreasonable?
10:24 - did not have to deal with this type of attacks, so looks kinda easy
10:44 - she's having a very dangerous for me seizure

12:24 - an unusual, but quite dodgeable attack

"Who Cares" is actually the boss theme (watch?v=kTFt-wsRMys). The stage theme, which is what you asked for, is called "The Mystery" (watch?v=jFZHtlDTPYs).
it is not Japanese. it's in chinese.
if in Japanese it would be read as 「百年少女怪談 The Mystery」read as : hyaku nen shoujo kaidan
notice that the last character are somewhat different due to Japanese using traditional kanji.

lol people actually think undertale is even remotely comparable to touhou?!? What a bunch of normies. Undertale had some bullet dodging elements. But it was nothing compared to Touhou.
While Touhou has more bullets it also has smaller hitboxes and half of the games have some sort of broken mechanic that you can exploit to make even lunatic mode pretty easy.

We have virtual reality in this age. So imagine dodging bullet hell in 3D. Difficulty can be based on hit box size and attack pattern frequency. Insane mode will probably crash your brain before your computer.
