Got any suggestions or questions?
Let me know!
could you do a tutorial on the fisheye effect?
Can you pls make a tutorial on how to do chromakey (greenscreen effect) with also on how to make instagram edits with cool transitions and effects and also maybe how to keyframe. I'm a beginner on this so I suck and all the other tutorial videos are out-dated.
One quick question, for some reason it massively slows down my audio when I zoom in and I dont know why. Can you please help me?
Everytime I use shotcut I need to reinstall my drivers to play games. Anyway to avoid this?
I have a question. Whenever I use this effect on the clip I want to use it on, it seems to lag terribly at the beginning of the clip and after the zoom finishes and zooms out the clip runs normally. Do you have any idea why this might happen?
Bro, this was great. There were so many vids that were just talking for 10 mins strait and were no help. Thanks for not being that person that has 10 min long intro's self promoting their channel. Strait to the point and very helpful. Thanks!
Completely agree. So sick of content creators using filler to make it to the 10 minute mark.
Hi. When I use the size filter, my zoom-ins always look choppy. Do you know if there is a smooth way to achieve the same effect?
That’s freaking amazing! I love shotcut so I’m absolutely gonna be binge watch the lessons I want to learn more about
So quick and simple for a question I've had for months, thank you so much!

This video has helped a lot🤞🔥🙏
I like this!
Great tutorial!!!! Subscribed. Thanks! I tried Lightworks but it's just not working on my not even that bad laptop. I made proxies also in Lightworks to make it faster (lowest setting even!) but that didn't help. In Shotcut I added the same footage and it gave me a warning that the framerate isn't the same and that this might cause problems with editing and whether I wanted to solve that. Lightworks never gave that warning nor option. Maybe this was the problem! It was indeed on those shots where Lightworks just lagged so badly it was not possible to edit. Spent many days on it and didn't find the solution though, such a waste of time. Now trying Shotcut since about an hour and already I like it a lot, it's intuitive and fast! And I definitely prefer open source projects as well. It runs great on my Linux laptop (LWKS crashed many times). So far so good!
Thank you
cheers man !!

You made my day

Many thanks. Why do I even need Premier Pro when we have something this light and feature-packed? Shotcut is awesome!
Love this video. With the zoom in, i want to add black bars how do u do that? The bars would (intentionally) cut off parts of the screen from the video.
New Sub here, thanks for your videos and time. These are very professional and to the point. I am learning Shotcut from your videos but previously I was doing trial & error... mostly error. Thanks again.

I have a question while this video was extremally helpful iI was wondering if there another way to drag the preview?
is there any way to apply zoom blur in shotcut, love your vids btw :D
I guess you could add any of the Blur Filters (there are 4), in your zoom in video clip, but I don't know if that is the exact effect that you may be looking for. It would be cool to see a new motion blur filter that could help with that. However I have not tried adding a zoom blur, maybe a future idea!
@@EJTech. oh ok thank you so much man your videos have helped me more than you can imagine, never stop making them
This was great
👍
I have a video that was shot vertically on a phone. I've imported it into Shotcut hoping zoom in on the middle and have a horizontal video. But although the video zooms, Shotcut won't expand the video -- it keeps it vertical. This is so weird and unfortunate.
😍😍Nice
nice
I can't choose any filters. none of the buttons is highlighted. I can't click anything. And why is this "magnet" icon active? It doesn't do anything.
There's no shortcut in Shotcut. You have to drag a clip into the viewer first, set the in and out points, then save it, then drag the clip onto the timeline. Now you don't have to edit the clip twice incase you somehow loose it on the timeline due to some reason because it's saved in the Playlist.
But how do i make it like follow something. I make it do a close up, but idk how to make it follow something thats moving while zoomed
That is a very good question. In general, I would say having keyframes to track the subject but that would be a little bit complicated. So I will definitely be making a video on this to see if I can make it a little easier to understand.
how to apply a same filter like Text:simple to more than one video which is splitted?
I have tried using shift, but it is not working
The video that i want the zoom effect to be in keeps getting drop framed idk why
When I zoom back out, it screws up the image resultion
I wanted to do the exact opposite. I want to be at the beginning zoomed full in, and the over time zoom out until the picture is 1:1. But that I could not figure out how to do unfortunately.
Thanks for the Video. I put the filter on many pictures and videos for a monzage and the quality of my pictures got worse. It's seeable on the prediction screen and the exported version. Do you know how to fix that?
How do I animate the zoom so it will go across the screen?
You have to change the position to the location you want to zoom in on and then use the toggles to add the animation in the keyframes timeline.
okay but i dont have the filters tab pls help me
