For anyone who starting pest control just remember it’s all about the company you work for that will determine your experience after a few years at a rag tag bad company I moved up to a better place and will be on the move to better soon.
Yup!!! It is 100%a scam & not many will actually use any chems & we just spray water on your house if we believe that you do not have any issues!!! I have had happy customers with no issues & I just spray water for $80-180 a service, depending on how much my company thinks they can get out of your ignorant, lazy ass!!!
Thanks bro, I've been training a week and have learned more from watching and listening to this video vs folks who literally just "go through the motions". This isn't just a job for me its a career change with an end goal in mind and I appreciate the passion!!
From Tucson AZ hello 👋 Pest control Technicians. I've been in this industry 2 years and love it. I even watch pest control videos on my days off. I'll be getting my Qualified applicator licence soon. Much respect from PEACE OF MIND PEST CONTROL !!!
Pest control technician in Tulsa and it definitely is a great industry to work in. Meeting people, helping people it's just all around a good profession.
Nice. Sounds like you all have a nice/close knit team of employees and that you are doing good work. From one Pest Control company to another: thanks for sharing your video with the community!
Absolutely, I work for Truly Nolen, I love this job, you learn every day, and if it's something you don't know, you'll learn it. Every day is different and you are trusted to run your route on your own. Glad to see there's others that love the job.. it does have it's good days and bad, but that's why we have cars with AC 😂. I can only get to 9-12 accounts a day here in Florida, we probably have to do more steps though.
Do you ever deal with Formosan Termites? I was a Pest Management Tech in the Washington DC and Baltimore Metro Area so all we had to deal with was the Eastern Subterranean Termite.
Great content! I’ve watched a few videos and I like the atmosphere described! I work for ABC Home & Commercial Services here in Texas. Same atmosphere, it makes all the difference in the world, and makes you not only want to work for the company but also a better technician!
Spraying in short sleeves, no hat, no respirator and improper protective eyewear...glad I don't work for that company! But hey, he's got a great belt buckle though!
Go to trade school. Pest control is easier work but you will also get paid less unless maybe you start your own pest control business or you are really good at sales.
Maybe, I’m from Texas, so the laws may be different where he is! I know where I am, long sleeve, pants, eye wear etc is required. There was a few things I’d question too tho!
Why would you worry about what topics to bring up with the customer just to start a conversation. You are paid to kill bugs. Check in with the customer and GET TO WORK!! You talk too much about nothing
Completing all services is a team effort? That's a good way to say that the harder you work the more you will work because when you finish early guess what slacker over here needs help you're not going home early.😂 I work for companies like this and they completely abused their employees stay away from these guys
You are looking at it all wrong. It is a team effort and I LOVED helping other guys for one reason....OVERTIME. Sure I worked 50 or 60 hours a week but in my FIRST year in the Pest Management business I made over 70k and that was 20 years ago.
As a pest hater from birth, nay before conception, I would love this job.

Did you like it?
How’s it going do you enjoy it
how are you enjoying it?
How’s it going? I’m trying to get on now, I’m worried about the sales part

Great insight into the daily grind of pest control-kudos to the hardworking exterminators out there keeping our spaces bug-free!
Starting a new job next week thank you for the information...
How did it go?

Sounds like a cool profession especially watching John Goodman in arachnaphobia
Right? Lol
Why are you using a mosquito sprayer to spray the fence?
Spraying in short sleeves, no hat, no respirator and improper protective eyewear...glad I don't work for that company! But hey, he's got a great belt buckle though!
None of those items are required by the product labels on the products used for outside
good service
Does it pay ok or should I go to trade school to be an electrician?
Go to a trade school, most electrician jobs are union jobs so they are worth their weight in gold.
Go to trade school. Pest control is easier work but you will also get paid less unless maybe you start your own pest control business or you are really good at sales.
do y'all use the Back blower vs Back pack sprayer or pulling hose to spray? or both?
How do u tackle a house that has pets, whether outside or in?
THats why I don't have any bumper stickers on my car. To keep you GUESSING! Jk lol.
My husband wants to know if you guys are hiring in clt area?
What kind of gun is that
Is this Kenny powers 😂
Is the sales part hard? I’m worried about that cuz I’ve never had sales experience
No it is not, if you are visiting a customer with a problem, selling services is like shooting fish in a barrel.
You just have to be good with talking to people naturally and make them feel comfortable around you and be knowledgeable about what you are doing
Improper application of a pesticide along the fence line, pesticide cannot be applied on other peoples property.
Most people aren't going to complain if you get some of their fence pest protected
I can name so many rules he broke. Hazards, protocols.
Maybe, I’m from Texas, so the laws may be different where he is! I know where I am, long sleeve, pants, eye wear etc is required. There was a few things I’d question too tho!
the chemical cant be in the same cabin with tech, a correct respirator etc,
Still great content!! I wasn’t trying to come off as know it all or the pick apart guy. Much love and respect!!
This guy is in NC. And probably in the same city. High Point. The High Point based Go too HELL here is high school shit.
@@gabrielaguirre9701it depends on the product if these things apply. Most states employ the label as the law
What product is he using?
Probably Bifen IT.
Or suspend polyzone
With that backpack he’s likely using Suspend Polyzone
Maybe oneguard
Suspend poly zone or demand
