+Garrett Bellamy (Gooberspad) I have a good amount of cars done but feel like I need to do more than choping painting and wheel swaps like I wanna build or mold wide body kits or crazy spoilers and stuff like that
I never could understand someone getting any "thumbs downs" on a video like this. Your work is highly impressive and the video was well lit and very well shot. I guess it comes down to an old saying I once heard. "The brighter the light, the more bugs it attracts". Keep up the great work G, I gave you a thumbs up.
Good job! I work on my customs everyday. My methods. 1. Always replace hotwheels basic wheels 2. Polish window trim and taillights by removing paint, then sand and buff. Same for taillights... then red sharpie marker. Much more realistic than red paint
mrgitarman awesome!! I never even thought about doing the trim that way. Very cool. I bet it's tough to remove the paint, and buff it without hurting the rest of the paint next to the trim
You have some cool customs brother! Have been stockn up on certain items to start doing customs myself. Im so close but i still need an air compreser. But i made a few mistakes along the way. I bought a badger and found an iwata for a vouple bucks more. Im be mad about that for a while.
did you really do them all of yourself??? The custom hybrid of supra and dom's charger was just incredible!!! Would love to see it in details. Like the bottom, how did you do it?
Yeah all of these are done by me. And I've done a ton more too just have sold or traded off a lot and have done more since this vid as well. As for the car you mention, just had to cut the bases in half for each car and meld them together just like I did with the bodies. A lot of work but worth it
hey, awesome customs. I just started doing this and noticed you've cut and spliced some bodies together. I'm going back through your vids and haven't seen one on that yet. do you weld, solder or glue them? do you have a demo?
Thank you very much. I actually just make sure it's a nice clean fit, then super glue them together. And for extra measure I add some JB weld on the inside of the body.
+Garrett Bellamy (Gooberspad) . Nice, thanks. I'm going to try making that Datsun Sunny posted on Jay lenos garage a few weeks ago and have about 8 ideas on how to do it between using 6 different cars and how to make that swooping B pillar. would be interested to see if you try one how you do that.
Just came across your channel and Love your work Great ideas on your customs. i just subscribed and liked this video keep up the great work! Tom (F4collector)
RUclips cutted the whole sound because Aerosmith's song was playing on the background? comming from speakers and no way one could download this to get the song? damn, they take copyright's seriously...
I could comment on each custom but . . . Some of my favorites are: [02:34] purple general lee [02:49] not a fan of the minicooper car but LOVE your custum “hot rod” version [03:06] love your rusty, woodbed army green truck [03:59] Joker Gasser - “classic” [05:55] your ‘VW’ bug shaker, made me laugh, that car is just too cool!
Sweet sweet cars man. The red 69 Boss is the new casting right? I am going nuts trying to figure out how you made an orange car red, while it looks like the factory stripes haven't been touched. Even the Hot Wheels logo on the quarter panel looks original. The only thing I can figure is, there is a red one coming out in the J, K, L or M or some future case nobody knows about, LOL! No that isn't it, is it? Didn't think so. I got 7 of these so far to repaint/wheel swap/customize being the Mustang freak that I am. I would love to know your magic trick you used on the Boss 302. I am clueless. If it is top secret, that's ok too, but I hope it ain't. Thanks, Mike

I found this one spray paint, gloss custom red I think. It's translucent and what I use as taillights on 1:24th scale models.

Thanks so much! And yes the boss 302 is the new mainline release car. And it does have the factory Tampos still :) hehe
Garrett Bellamy Cool, you dyed it ! I knew it.
It's actually painted not dyed. But kinda the same effect
What car is behind the Orange Goob truck? Is that a hotwheel? I want to try a custom like that.
