Have had my oldest plants for 38 years, sometimes they seed them selves in the same pot with parent plants, have had a few seedlings fill out the pot. Grafted one, has done very nicely. This is the first year I'm sowing the seeds with your video, THANKS!🌵

The stupid thing is that alot of its native habitat is in the U.S. How utterly ridiculous (and absolutely immoral) to declare a plant illegal especially in its native territory.

Good morning from bristol uk. Pleased to say after carefully following your videos I've successfully germinated 13 lophophora williamsii from seed using the baggy method. Left them in the bag for 5 months and have now fully opened the bags and removed them. Just a question about watering. Can I give them a good watering now and then leave them. How often should I water them. They are in a south facing window sill. Ps. Thankyou for sharing all your knowledge in your videos. Been a god send 🙌
Hi there :-D so sorry for only just seeing your comment now, thats wonderful news you have successfully germinated 13 Lophophora, its so rewarding to grow these amazing cacti from seed, once the bags are opened you can let the soil dry out slightly but still keep the soil lightly damp to prevent the delicate roots on the young seedlings from drying up, I keep my seedlings lightly moist all through the first year and in Winter until they are big enough to be potted on, I hope this helps and thanks so much for your wonderful comment and for watching, and sending you lots of love and happiness and PLANT POWER for a fantastic Friday XXXX

just found your channel!!it is brilliant! we have just bought 3 baby Lophophora williamsii and 20 seeds.... we are in the south west uk....just wondering if its best to wait untill next spring to start off the seeds?
So happy you found my channel, thats wonderful you have bought 3 Lophophora and seeds, the good news is you can sow the seeds now, Spring, Summer and early Autumn are always the best time to sow seeds, but if you have plant grow lights, you can sow them in Winter too, Good luck with growing from seed, and thank you so much for your wonderful comment and for watching XXXX
I love your videos. Your energy is awesome! Do you grow poppies? A video about them from you would be spectacular. Thanks for all the info. Have a wonderful day!
So happy you love my videos and energy :-D I LOVE Poppies and I have been growing them at my Horticulture college but I don't grow any at my house, thanks so much Chad for your wonderful comment and for watching and sending you an abundance of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from across the Emerald Isle for a wonderful Thursday XXXX
The thing with poppies is they love freshly tilled soil. Which is why they grew in abundance on the battlefields of world war one in france where the shell explosions constantly tilled the land. Use a potting mix of soil (coir, compost what ever reallly) with verm and sand in equal parts (verm and sand optional but advised). Water the mix before sowing the seeds loosely on top. Do in this order or you risk the seeds being washed away. I have success growing poppies in the garden in the UK by sowing in spring. Poppies like water but don't go too heavy with the water until they're big otherwise you will wash the seeds/seedlings away but don't let the mixture dry out for too long. When they're a bit more established they normally do fine outside.
I planted 6 pots of stapeliads- each a different kind. In 2 of the bags seeds sprouted after 3 days. The others havent done anything and it has been a month. Is there any chance that anything else will spout or is a month too long?
Hi Michelle :-D it is still possible that some seeds will still germinate as they can take up to 3 months to germinate, thanks so much for watching and sending you an abundance of love and happiness and PLANT POWER from right across the Emerald Isle for a wonderful weekend XXXX
Hi Jennifer :-D thats wonderful news you have got a Lophophora Cactus, its best to use a very well draining cactus mix, I make up my own for Lophophora of 3 equal parts of Loam, Grit and horticultural sand, but you can use any well draining good quality cactus soil, its best to avoid peat based soils, here is a link to the soil I make for my Cacti including my Lophophoras: ruclips.net/video/8s9Jq7qbfA0/видео.html XXXX

Alex James where I am I'm the states it's not illegal to have as a live plant, it becomes illegal once it's no longer in the ground. But thanks
