    A North Machine that canes more like a Quark and swings like a Nomic, and you can clip your ‘biner to the bottom! Super cool. Too bad I don’t need this tool, owning the Grivels already.

    Oh, there is the new Harfang Alpine Mono on the table. It would be great to hear some geek talk about that one. I remember Bill Belcourt speaking about the rest of Harfang range (except Tech and Mono versions) here on the channel some time ago.

    I'm confused, I keep hearing that the hydro formed shaft gives it super light weight at 575g but the Nomic is only 585g and can be stripped down to 500g according to Petzl's website. 10g is not a significant weight gain for an ice tool imo... Am I missing something?
