I love both this and the final show, for different reasons. The official show is extremely entertaining with it's humer and magic, but I absolutely LOVE the look of the pilot. The animation is more expressive, the characters feel way more like they're actual freshmen. The designs, though more simple, also lean on this. It shows a more of a real life setting for teens just barely entering high-school, being the youngest, the less cool kids. I'll say again that I am happy for the final result, but this was a very nice and eye opening look at how much this show has developed.
One thing i really regretted about that show is the relationship between Randy and Heidi... they're designed to be partnered, but they fail keeping them connected

Wow James Arnold Taylor voicing Randy that’s pretty cool. But I’m glad we ended up with Ben Schwartz instead.
Damn, i wasn't prepared for that Tom Sawyer guitar solo 🔥🔥🔥
Es curioso lo diferente que se ve al resultado final
2:13 it’s all good my ninja 👴🏻
An Arctic Monkeys song in the Randy Cunningham pilot? That’s awesome
Yes! Nobody told me that!
Not gonna lie...this is legit better.
One thing i really regretted about that show is the relationship between Randy and Heidi... they're designed to be partnered, but they fail keeping them connected
From reading the comments alone, there seems to be a lot of licensed music in this pilot. I wonder if that's the cause of the copyright strikes for this video.
I can see why they changed his design, he looks EXACTLY like Ben Tennyson (and is voiced by Johnny Test lol)
who, randy??
i mean, i guess i see it now that someone’s made the comparison, it looks kinda like if OS ben had OV-style hair… just jarring to me, cause the style is so different, things like eye color that are notable in ben 10 are hardly visible here
I always forget, but how much of the original made it into the final product?
This design looks so much better than the final design. It looks similar to the cartoons from the 2000s.
Holy shit the animation is really good tho-
