Not quit sure what Katalina's personality is so far, and Brick is sort of like the new Eve in that his race and character kinda prevent him from really doing much. So I guess it's Delvin. It's funny how a forever DM plays. So much confidence and commitment to staying in character, and also not afraid to make assumptions. When Dave says what he's doing it's like he's the narrator.
I think personally character wise Delvin is awesome.. It's interesting how his character is playing out... you can tell he was taught to be hard and take what he wants and work hard for it, because of the trauma of childhood where he had everything stripped from him and had nothing, but you can see his softness come out when he is around the more gentle energies.. But I seriously got to give props to Jazza... I think he is acting a better 13 year old girl than I did myself when I was 13!!
I think why I prefer TTT to critical role is the amount of players. Quantity doesn’t always mean quality, but with these four you are always in for a good time.
I'm greatly enjoying seeing this world get fleshed out slowly through the PC interactions. Jen/Katalina reading emotions is a great story device. That being said, I WANT TO SEE SOME COMBAT. UNLEASH THE BRICK.
The fishing intermezzo was priceless. I kept chuckling as it played out. Delvin is such a sweetheart and so caring. He's really quite the father figure :D Now I guess I have to listen to another campaign while waiting for the next part. I also should have gone to bed like 45 minutes ago, but did not want to intererupt the Episode XD Love these so much. Thanks for posting them.
I love Jen's face when Delvin asks for the finest room for himself and a lesser room for the party . She just looks so taken aback and affronted. To be honest so was I because he's so caring with the kid and then he turns on a dime and is out for himself again. Love the whole party but that moment took me aback
This session was seriously incredible. Jazza's storytelling was super immersive and engaging, and everyone's characters had time to develop and shine through. You guys just keep raising the bar with your stories and I can not wait for more!
You can really tell how much love and care jazza put into the creation of this world ♡ You can also really see how everyone really dives into the world and becomes one with their characters. ♡
I was laughing so hard I almost cried at Brick's interaction with the kids at the fishing hole 😂 (I'm placing bets with myself how many episodes before he just stands stoic while little children climb his 7' form like a jungle gym)
I love WorldAnvil so much. I'm trying out the Cogent system for the first time with a group of friends and it makes world building and writing so easy! I'm so excited for my campaign.
Loving the story. If I had one critique it would be that Jazza tells to much of the other character actions in his story telling rather than letting them say what are doing or feeling.
I used to play text based RPGs online (basically you wrote part of a story from your character's POV) and one of the biggest problems we would run into would be players reading something that they had read and then suddenly, their character knew everything about what was going on, even if they weren't there and nody told them. That being said I just love how Dave played out Delvin being confused with the whole incident of Brick and Madea eating the guy's stew and then getting caught because to him it sounds like they got robbed. And along that same thread I appreciated how Jazza explained Katalina's understanding of her mom's message with enough detail that it wasn't just "she just knows" but without needing to describe the code system in its entirety. I also love how Delvin got Brick to noodle.
I wish more people could find this gem of a channel. This is far better then any of those channels thay they push on the recommend page. Great episode, can't wait for more. 👏 👏
I gotta admit I was cracking up hard this episode. The previous few felt like the characters were still trying to get to know each other, but this one really seems like they’re all in their element and expressing their own unique personalities. Looking forward to binge watching the rest of the series!
Delvin is such an incredible character! Dave is doing such a good job at helping people. Helping families with food, ending racism, releasing a magical healer into the world (with the help of katalina) and bringing some lighthearted fun to somewhere that I think will need it very soon... Obviously the king is trying to take villages/ers, and trying to capture magic users for an army, either he wants to conquer or there is a bigger threat out there that we don't know about yet. It's gonna be interesting to see this campaign progress, it's going really well so far! Keep up the great work guys, between your charisma, experience and skills, I can't help but feel that this campaign is going to shape out really well. Heck, they always do! Looking forward to more! :D
Also Katalina's mood magic is an incredible idea. Was that inspired by the new life is strange, or is that just a coincidance? As they seem to be a similar concept. Either way, her and Brick with his "Brick"-ness help to fill out the party in a really strong way.
How do you get so much done in 2 hours when I had a 4 hour dnd game (my first one) and we sat at a tavern, had to buy a wooden cup because my random rock got stuck in it, my character got in debt to these weird “adventurers” and we then entered a cave where I cut a weird creature in half and we ended the session. THAT WAS 4 HOURS
So after we give people time to watch this episode.... Do yall have a favorite Character so far?? Do you have any that you relate to?
BRICK
Delvin. I can relate to a shrewd business man with a picky taste in food, and appreciation of the nice things in life.

Katalina & Brick! Delvin is a bit of a know it all imo

Lol!! This is how I describe being a human!

ohhh the thumbnail just makes me want to give Brick such a big HUG!!!
aww true it is so cute.. is it just me or does it kinda remind anyone else of uncle fester (addams family).

YES
RELEASE THE BRICK WALL
Alishas thumbnails are so beautiful they really captured the moment
Caught the live stream on twitch but I’m here for the algorithm boosting power of comments.
Also on the rewatch so incase i missed any details.
Just in case*
Commenting to please the algorithm gods. I am loving this campaign so far. Can’t wait for the next episode.
Yes, totally agree.

Now I just can't wait to see the fanart of Brick fishing...

This is the first time I've ever watched something like this, but I'm binging these! I'm SO invested in this story! Thank you all ☺️
It’s so funny to see Brick in proportion to everybody else in the thumbnail
I was laughing so hard I almost cried at Brick's interaction with the kids at the fishing hole 😂

Honest to god… I’ve never been so happy to hear a role play about fishing in my life! This is the best!!
I too wanna see some combat with Brick, UNLEASH THE BRICK!

They make art with words too! I've become invested in this story over the last couple of days
Not only entertaining, but educational; I had never heard of "noodling for catfish" before
Brick is an EXCELLENT Teal'c comparison! I love that imagery!
Really enjoying this campaign so far! Seems like a really interesting world and enjoying seeing the characters develop
this episode was so fun to watch, loved the split storylines and how you could see that everyone was having such a good time!
Another great episode... Love the setting. Can't wait to watch more.

Amazing as always! Also that thumbnail art for each chapter is so awesome!!
Love the thumbnails
I’m enjoying the nice slow vibe of the non combat encounters
I know everyone loves Brick - and he's such a great character, but Delvin has my heart! He's so great and kind, but tougher than he appears! ❤️

This was a great episode! So wholesome :)
my favorite moment was definitely the noodling with the stinky ties
I love this episode! The fishing moment is so sweet! 😊
Something about a character of a fantasy world saying "I was taking the piss mate" is peak comedy for me
I am absolutely loving this series so far!
Fishing with toes! Very innovative :D
Fun episode as always! keep up the great work.
LOVING this series :D
It is so hard to keep a straight face listening to this at a grocery store 😂 So it's me buying some avocados and grinning madly 😆
Commenting to tell the algorithm this is the good stuff!
good boute yall
Near the end I like how Dave is just straightening his eyebrows
Can't believe they got the guy from the "Jazza's Arty Games" App, real star power!
Dave is an amazing pleayer! ^^
You should do a cupboard based oneshot
... wait a minute.... Is this the beach episode!?
So brick is bald and he wishes to protect a little girl. Add on a bigger nose and he suddenly wants to protect 3 gorls.
I love eating my fresh Brick toe-fish.

Jazza takes too long to describe NPC emotions and feelings
