I Agree. There's less destruction to only destroy buildings. The enemies are annoying to the point that will get players mad & avoiding enemies is too easy just by stealth & leave them to continue on Armageddon's story. As the aggressive Martian creatures are more annoying than the Hostile Humans.
Volition wanted to go back to first Red Faction with Armageddon, too bad people were already spoiled by Guerilla open world gameplay.

People forget Red Faction started as a Half-Life influenced linear fps .
Feeling playing this was like... "WTF happened" We went from "Die Miner!!" to weird underground fiber optic alien/gears of war shit..

Shame, the combat is really good for it's time and holds up very well with modern games of today.
