I've been sick a long time and was forced to retire. I'm not even old. Anyway, I'm not a climber. Climbing is just not my thing, but I want to be healthy again. I can feel the life in this little documentary, and it's healthy for my soul. I sure appreciate that. I thought the dog was cool too. I saw one that climbed everest. I thought that was awesome, but I wouldn't want to see it happen again. I don't think my appreciation of this is unique, so I'm disappointed to see so few views. I hope it picks up. It's clean video, very well edited, and the music was well chosen. It deserves more than a few thousand views in three months, but youtube is too busy recommending ten year old videos that have nothing to do with my viewing habits.
This is gold, as someone who has not gone on multiweek long expeditions, this video is a beautiful way to capture the experience! And I can't believe you hanging out with Nims! I'm reading his book right now! Solid bloke!
Inspiring! Really enjoyed this. The storytelling/editing/photography throughout is excellent. Congrats to you and your fellow mountaineers! Thanks for sharing!!
Pema your videos are inspiring. I found your videos because I was looking for videos on Aconcagua Summits. I’ve subscribed to follow your journey to all seven summits. Best of luck with everything.
Congratulations on the climb and the first cab of the rank for 7 summits , wow , great video and editing , photographs are really popping with colour , pays off to get a good camera and lens up there , nice narration 🥂
Absolutely fantastic film! Best you tube video we have watched in ages! And to climb with Nims and his team, doesn't get any better than that!😊👏. Thank you for putting this together, and well done on your summit😊
Hi. I really enjoyed your video! I just hiked Kilimanjaro this past summer (grueling summit day but overall awesome adventure). I am so excited about trying my hand at Aconcagua. I know Aconcagua is considered a more difficult hike than Kilimanjaro, but should I prepare differently for Aconcagua? Also, would you recommend Elite Expedition for this trek? Thank you for much for your time and happy holidays! : )
Hey! I have a question, I am considering this climb with EliteExped but I have a concern, I am an experienced climber who’s in great shape but naturally have a higher blood pressure than most people (140/90) and I heard they do medical checks along the way and I am concerned they wouldn’t let me continue on. Is this true? If so is my blood pressure an issue? Thanks!
Pema, thank you for sharing your story. My wife and I are looking to do this at the end of the year. Can you tell me where and how you were able to fly your drone?
Hello Pema, I just watched your video, excellent work; thank you for walking me through your expedition. I have scheduled my expedition for Dec 2024; besides working out, do you have any tips for me:? Btw I just subscribed to your channel
I thought climbing the mountain would be so hectic but I find people here having fun, chilling and even drinking Jack Daniels; that's crazy 😅! Anyways, the vlog is amazing and your whole style of keeping things on the video is mind blowing ! Wai.... Did I tell you that you've such a great smile : )
I think it’s a difference in education standards. Apparently some countries in South America teach that America is one continent and some people get oddly defensive about their world views.
I canceled my trip due to Covid-19 traveling restrictions and such. Planning for this December in stead but not shure again due to how it seems to go up again. Its not a word about it in this video, was it all smooth sailing getting down there and all?
This trip was pre-pandemic. I’ve had plenty of expeditions and climbs cancelled due to covid since, even at the last minute so be cautious and get covid inclusive travel insurance!

@@georginiuss I am very annoyed of having to repeat this multiple times in the comments, but North and South Americans (and other countries in other continents) teach different theories of geography. Very few places in the world outside of South America teach continental theory with 6, not 7 continents. There are separate models for 4 & 5 continents as well.

@@pcolmegna sorry but Aconcagua is located in Argentina, a country in South America. Separated from North America by the isthmus of Panama, much like Asia is separated from Africa by the isthmus of Suez.
