A lot of people think Janet cut Pac off because she thought she was better than him. I think it’s more complex than that. I think her husband at the time - Renee had her cut him off and I also think Pac hurt Janet when he was constantly seeing and hearing about multiple women, cuz although she was with Renee on paper, I think she fell in love with Pac. Therefore he was capable of hurting her. Janet tries to downplay her true feelings for Pac, but she ain’t hiding as good as she think shes hiding.
