  • An upgrade to Milltek Catted Downpipes into a 2021 Audi RS6 Avant isn't for the faint of heart. The downpipes are located in the center of the 4.0L twin turbo charged V8 of the 2021 Audi RS6. The removal of the OEM downpipes on the RS6 requires careful maneuvering of tools, hands, and the downpipes themselves, but we were able to get them out in a couple of hours. Once the OEM downpipes are out, it is much easier to re-install the new Milltek catted downpipes because they are a bit more compact with the removal of a seconday catalytic converter. These Milltek downpipes come with a high flow catalytic converter to remain EPA friendly and doesn't cause any check engline lights.

That sounds awesome!!! I’m just wondering that after installed the milltek 200cell downpipe for US model (non GPF) does it cause the check engine light before tune the car? Thank you😄

There was no check engine light, the cat is still in the stock location 🤌

That’s great! Thanks for the information. I have watched few modified catback exhaust videos, but I feel that change downpipe sounds much better and more efficient 👍🏻

Toyota? Open the garage doors, the fumes are getting to you.

Looking at this too, do they leave the oe resonators in link pipe and swap out cats only? I’ve noticed the akra dp come with their own link pipes with resonators, so seems consensus is leave resonators in link pipe in some form to smooth out nvh of hfc

Yeah it's all personal preference. I personally like a resonated exhaust over non-resonated. Non-resonated setups typically sound too raspy for my taste!

Honestly didn't sound too different, but supposedly more flow!
