I don’t normally comment on these videos but I feel I had to, most of you have obviously not watched all the interviews and press conferences. Baz has stated many times that Austin sang all the 50’s songs and early 60’s then it was a mix of both Austin and Elvis from the 68 comeback special although in filming Austin sang every song till it was decided to blend their voices together with a few exceptions if you have studied the credits Austin started off singing If I Can Dream when practicing the night before they filmed that scene along with a couple of others and played the piano live during the 70’s scenes and it has been revealed that during the Vegas Rehearsal scene that was all Austin singing and directing the Orchestra live Baz decided to unmute the instruments and let Austin completely lead that whole scene live after months of practicing to the audio, now say he didn’t sound like Elvis. He poured his heart and soul into this role and no one could of been more dedicated in getting it right, also non of the Presley family had any financial contribution or gain they were all scared of what Baz would do and with the performance in the film of Austin and when they viewed the film they were all blown away and believed they were watching Elvis they were his family they should know not people who just think they did their reactions should be all that matters. I hope that Austin and the film win lots of awards and they will be well deserved.
