Whenever I hear this song and the sound of the water, I can come back to Dunwall, where whale oil, plague and destiny swirl. Strange and beautiful, at this Hound's Pits Pub. For example, no matter how much time passes. I love the Dissonored series with all my heart.
Just got done replaying 1 and playing through 2 for the first time about 2 months ago. I still have to play Death of the Outsider. Such amazing and beautiful games with great ambience. I hope Arkane Studios revisits the Dishonored Universe again someday. Top 5 game series for me. Thanks for the great upload!
THANK YOU!!! dishonored is one of my favorite games and the ambience of that game was insanely peaceful?? like i played recently for the 494762th time and just sitting there listening to the waves the seagulls and the music realizing what i was about to do and what was happening to me… smh the double betrayal
Been very obsessed with your channel. Im one of many people who have spent so much time in these games that listening to the ambiance feels like home. Dishonored connected with me on such a deep level in so many aspects. Was playing it when I was 13 and still playing it in my mid 20s. Thank you.
Kind of the same for me. Been playing both from time to time (and the DLCs) for over 10 years so it's safe to say they'll stay with me for the rest of my life.
I must be mad, but I like wandering around the Hound pits, sprinting or simply walking taking random turns and talk to my inner self. This game makes me remember and think of my deepest memories and about my life's purpose. At least, its all the environment and peaceful melancholic ambience
i know this is a rather old video and you probably won't see this but i just wanted to thank you for this video because it's done wonders for my anxiety and insomnia, i use it to fall asleep pretty much every night and i am so thankful for your channel!
At least I'm glad they provide some kind of comfort and take your mind off of it. Is it from the surgery you had a while back? Are you okay? I've added it to the playlist, I think. Sorry, sometimes I forget to do that when I upload them. Thank you for reminding me.
@@Alexandra.AI. Yeah, the surgery. A part of the incision did not close properly so I had to undergo another procedure, and this time I was under local anesthesia - which means I was wide awake the whole time. X) But I am a lot better now than the last week for sure. I just feel the new stitches now and then. When my facial muscles pull for whatever reason. And it's alright, no need to apologize about forgetting. Just wanted to help, soon as I noticed.
@@ravensthatflywiththenightm7319 u were wide awake the whole time, could u feel everything or could u just feel the pressure of the incisions? (If ur comfortable with answering of course)
There's something strange about the sun in Dishonored. I think it got sacrificied for the sake of artistic beauty. In Dunwall, it dawns in the north above the northern shore of Wrenhaven, in Karnaca it sets in the East (I believe I watched the sunset before the Clockwork mansion mission, right?). No way that I am complaining, let it be so. Just found it peculiar.
You know, I didn't even realize that. I have to pay more attention. Though I remember it being close to sunset during the Clockwork mission. How did you figure this out though? Might be a dumb question but does it have anything to do with the maps?
Yeah, I am a big Dishonored need myself, so I have a map printed on a sheet in my room and one evening when I explored maps of Dunwall and Karnaca I noticed that there's something wrong. There is also something wrong with climates. For example they grow grapes and fruits in Alexin peninsula in Tyvia and right next to it slightly towards the North lies Samara where it is constantly freezing cold and nights lasting for a few months. Given the size of the ingame planet is like Earth, it seems just impossible for climates being different so drastically in the small Empire of the Isles.
By the way, I reconaidered my view on Dishonored universe. Possibly under a different name I told you I want to live in the world of Dishonored. But there are many gruesomr details about it like whales electrocuted to produce more oil (Sokolov's invention, whose character I also consider over-romanticised in the sequel - I believe such sadists cant turn in kind granpas with time) and people of high society being absolute jerks and perverts. There are some engaging details about this universe but taken as the whole its perhaps way too brutal and hopeless.
Always did seem like a nice place to sit around and reflect on things. Pity about the smell that must be coming from the river though haha
you're probably right. Though the water seems pretty clear. I imagine the streets would smell worse...
@@Alexandra.AI. True. I've seen murkier rivers, back when traveling was safe.
@@ravensthatflywiththenightm7319 I can believe that.

Been rolling your entire Dishonored ambience playlist today to keep my mind off some physical pain. It helps a lot.

God damnit! I've to play it a third time to calm down I'm thinking about this game too much for my own good
This one is my favorite.
Death of the outsider mission 2 follow the ink. On the deck of the ship. Ominous mysterious ambience with a great view
Thank you for the suggestion.
can you make the on top of kaldwins bridge ambient? love the playlist!
