Fun fact, this is the first 80mm jet we developed to introduce what has become an industry standard class size. At the time, we believed that 80mm jets had a future in the marketplace for size, performance, and value. Six years later, we've now produced nine 80mm jets, each popular and beloved in own right.... I wonder what will be the tenth? Oh wait. I know. :)
Damn you Alpha and that beautiful, Willy Wonka mind of yours! I can't wait until the next 1600mm Warbird! You probably flew it today! ...I'm sure it flys great, whatever it is! Lol!
Great video, great plane, and love to see my home field get some press, too! I just got my new Freewing 80mm T-33 from Motion today - hopefully will have it out there this weekend. These birds have certainly come a long way over the last decade - good to see the venerable A-6 still has more than a little life in it. Kudos to Alpha & team for leading the charge.
It for sure needed the inrunner!!! The older one looked really cool but was such a dog in the air!! This looks much much better!! Seems like this new inrunner is actually catching up to the FMS 80mm!! Not quite there but really close! Kudos for making the changes! ✈️✈️✈️✈️
3:30am and the Old Man just finished watching with my coffee. Great video James. We have one in our club. When it's being flown I always stop and watch. My want list is so big hard to decide. ✈😎💗
James...Can’t beat the look of the scale jets man. You looked real comfortable flying it. 👍👍. Now what did i do with that cell checker???? Hmmm😜. It gets you every time. haha. Love the videos Bud. Alex is one heck of a camera man.. He’s a keeper. 👊👊😊
Definitely a super nice flying military jet. Its has one of the finest flight characters out of the 80mm military jets. Love it so much I'm selling my original jet and buying the high performance
Great flight James, mine arriving today, A little worried when she hit the grass on the landing, looked like I might have a issue taking off from grass.
Really love your jets and even more so your active and enthusiastic engagement to this community. Corsair, Tomcat and hopefully a new MRC p-51 in my future. I was so close to pulling the trigger on your 80mm a-10, but as insignificant as it might seem I am buying the FMS a-10 because of the black and grey arctic camo scheme.
Definitely an oldie but a goodie, plus now having that high performance power it seems to be a big plus. I know your field gets a lot of crosswind that gyro really is always a big help! Definitely need to equip all the Jets with gyros!
Hey there! Great video! CG Question: I have the A6 standard version (not the Hi-Pro) and when I position my battery (Spektrum Smart 6S/4000mah) to get the manuals recommended CG my battery is so much further forward than this video shows...? Is that because of the Hi-Pro version or the Admiral Hi-pro battery? I haven’t maidened mine yet so just wanted your input... Thanks and btw MRC tutorial vids are such a help....well done, sir!
That would be cool, but when it comes to RC, keeping planes at light as possible helps. A functional hook, while cool, would be utterly useless in RC. But many have modded those things of course. Thanks for tuning in
I'm thinking on getting one of these because I used to be an a-6 jet mechanic back in the late 1980's, is there a price list for this & what a person would need to fly this.
I guess the Admiral Carbon 5100 won't fit in there? Maybe it could fit with some extra canopy area trimming? Someone please try, I love this battery for so many planes!!!
How’s it going brother.. Well I have a 5000 50c OVONIC AIR BATTERY TO FIT IN MINE .. But if you manager receiver on the side wall like in the video where he has his it won’t fit my receiver is mounted on the back would wear the 5000 CG is just right I have a 637 spectrum receiver with safe select inside of my mine . I was thinking that the Safe select would not work but it did .. but yeah mantra receiver on the back where are you rotor an elevator lines run over the top but that 637 spectrum receiver can mount anywhere in any position.. Even the guys at the hobby shop we’re pretty impressed that the A-6 intruder bonded up with the safe select.. 😁
How easy is this to fly, for beginners? And land? My dad used to work on these, I've never seen him fly any rc, but we used to have rc magazines in the house when i was a kid, so he must have wanted some kind of rc plane. Hmm... I'll watch the video and probably buy it anyway, if he doesn't fly it i will, lol. I'm also a beginner with zero hours flight time

I sure hope it’s a Grumman Panther in the same paint scheme as your 64mm version ! Hint, hint .....
Panther would be great!!
Nearly the opposite of a Panther, this time around!
@@alphamrc309 even more confused. EDF Biplane?😃👍😃

Glad you Reviewed this one, i wanted to review it myself but because I fly off grass wasn't sure how it would handle it. Plenty of power!!
Love videos that don’t get chopped up and show real landings that we all make sometimes. Mine were bad yesterday.
I'm definitely not perfect for sure. I'm happy with any landing that I don't get any damage
@@MotionRC me too. I had a couple rough ones yesterday. Pour corsair

Nice. I was a airframe tech on f14’s in the Navy. My Buddy was a mechanic on the A6. On Abraham Lincoln. 1991
Fantastic! Thanks for sharing that!

one of the guys in the bcma club im in brought this baby out the other day and man in video is one thing but irl is impressive. love this thing!
Loving the video. Thank you for doing another video on the A-6 Intruder. First time any request i have ever made anywhere was done.
No problem Michael. Also ha e a tandem flight in the editing room too. Coming soon
@@MotionRC thats awesome. Ive been wanting to get into these for a while. Ive flown choppers.

Thanks so much man. It's almost as if I am doing the cell checker on purpose, but I don't ;). And yes, Alex is THE MAN
I love that jet! One day my skills will justify it's purchase.
James I ordered my a-6 high performance yesterday can’t wait to get her
Nice Nate! Such a looker.
Motion RC will try to get a good video of it when he gets it...
Oh yeah are we gonna see a build video not a good one on the Internet for this bird
@@natecougoule9468 unfortunately no. I got this one a while back for a show maybe and never filmed the unboxing. But it's pretty simple assembly.
Excellent video buddy!!! A friend at our field just got one, great job guys, thanks for sharing 👊🏼👊🏼👍🏼💥🔥

Nice flying James. That A-6 is cool.
Very nice flying there James.
Thumbs up bro
Very Nice James! I was USAF over 18 years, and my Favorite planes are USAF, BUT This navy plane is quite unique looking!! 🤟🤟🤟
Great flight James, mine arriving today, A little worried when she hit the grass on the landing, looked like I might have a issue taking off from grass.
Sounds great gliding! Nice scale look!👍
Very nice
Wow that looks sweet. With the upgrade to the power system I am very tempted.
You won't be disappointed

Awesome Chris. All good man, buy whatever you like, I'm sure we'll have something for you eventually ;). As long as your flying, we are happy

Love it! Will purchase soon.
Be careful with admiral we had 5 edfs go in over course of a week all had that particular reciever .Beauitiful plane nice flight
ooo está genial ese avión RC !! que ganas de pilotarlo
How about some quotes out of that movie "Flight Of The Intruder" of 1991, a lot like Top Gun.
Damnit guys you got me looking again. my wife is going to be leaving comments here pretty soon. Because she be getting mad at me! LOL
Haha same here
@@HoundDogMech .... Me... .. .. lol
Same lmao!!
Better tie that cell-checker to the tx James😉😜
yes A-6 intruder finally

hard to say, compare the weight of your battery with the one I am using on the product page
Love you motion rc!!
Love you more ;)
I would buy this for my second edf jet!
Wish you guys could have it in stock again soon.
they will be soon. click the notify me when back in stock button on the product page to make sure you know when it is available
@@MotionRC I already did that! thanks :) Hope you guys could also carry the bomb set for the A6 as well.
I'm trying to decide between F-5 and A-6, they're both gorgeous!
If you crave speed, get an F-5. If you like more varied flying, then the A-6 is great
@@MotionRC I’m in between the mig 21, f5, a6 l39, and a4
May be the best sounding jet u guys got
Fly the Venom then let's talk ;)
Motion RC never heard it yet
Motion RC I like scale though
@@Blueesteel_ The Freewing 90mm DeHavilland Venom is scale and one of the best sounding EDF Jets for sure

Im curios who will make first edf air refuelling FPV.

I put one in yes. Always helps with ant wind

needs the rails and ordinance load out. not tanker set up.
There are so many ordnance pieces you can 3d print now. Guy have done some cool load outs on our hobby squawk forums
Keep quiet like u said talk later
