basically the "satan" we know in the series is actually the essence of gehenna itself (which is why mephisto, lucifer, etc. calls him father) we don't know yet if there is an existence that actually could be God but Satan is basically that being, he only called himself satan because all that reading he did brought up the name satan from christian bibles, and he knows he's the most powerful demon ever now so he chose to take on that name, but hes not satan like we know in the bible
I don't think Kazue wants to tackle that at all. In manga there is no mention of any god existence( anime added that one weird moment when Yukio said kami in episode 1 of s1 but that is anime fanfic ). It would be as well a bit weird because there are many different religions in the main cast, like buddhists( Kyoto trio ) or shinto( Izumo ) or even native Americans beliefs( Osceola ) so making one canon would be weird. Kazue just made her own fictional world and is just going with it.
