I was expecting you to be sensitive to heritage and wouldn’t imagine you doing something like that at all from what I have seen from you so far. So please don’t do it again. Unfortunately our museums like other things in Portugal are administered by incompetent people who, in most cases , are only interested, at best, in cashing in their monthly salaries rather than being attentive to protecting our national heritage from curious visitors as it happens in other countries but that’s not the case yet. I’m still an optimist at heart but my country often proves otherwise in these kind of things.

Great to see your grandparents Amalie, a very charming couple. Love Parque e Palácio de Monserrate, need to take my wife there. Only place she has not been to in the Sintra area. Azenhas do Mar restaurant is one of our favourites, the food has always been good, but the view is what keeps us coming back. Hope your grandparents have a great time and do return.

Guys please visit the Berlengas islands in Peniche and the go to Peniche city and Baleal. Peniche is also the european capital of surf. Do a little research u won't regret
I have been visiting this Palace & Garden for more than 40 years. For about 35 years the Palace was closed. I have seen how in recent years they were restoring it. Bit by bit. It took I believe more than 10-15 years to finish it. In fact the last time I was there, just 3-4 years ago, it wasn't entirely finished yet.

Guys you need to go up North and visit Guimaraes a city with a centre which is Unesco World Heritage Site and where the first Portuguese king was born, Braga the Iberian Rome where some of the oldest churches are, Ponte de Lima, Arcos de Valdevez and Peneda-geres National park. The only natural park with a National status. You will love it. And try the cuisine up North you will love it. Interesting fact. The first castle in Guimaraes was built by countess Mumadona to protect the local from attacks done by Danish vikings. Your ancestors were there 10 centuries ago so I guess you should also. You will definitely not regret it.

I have no idea what you said, when you said the name of the area where the restaurant and beach was or how far away it is from the last place you were or how to get there? Maybe I am watching the wrong type of vlog, I have watched others that place informative content on the screen so you know the name of the place and can look it up. I am looking for more specific info as I will be traveling to Portugal next week.
