- This video is about planning a road trip to Sach Pass. It also captures and compares the views you may witness depending on time of travel - When the pass just opens in May vs when the pass is about to close in October.
Sach Pass is a 4,414-metre-high (14,482 ft) mountain pass in Chamba District, Himachal Pradesh, India on the Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas.
It connects the Chamba valley with the Pangi valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India. The pass is open from June or early July to mid October.
Sach pass can be reached from three directions, One from Pathankot side via Tissa -Bairagarh, second from Manali-Udaipur side, and Third from -Kishtwar-Pangi road via Killar.
The first is the shortest and more treacherous, and most popular route, given that the other routes are very long in comparison.

Nice video 📸 such a beautiful place,,, how was the weather in September,,, ?
@Naksh Mehra Vlogs, thanks for comment. It is pleasant weather in September. The high altitude regions are barren and mundane while the lower half is lush green. During day, direct sunlight is scorching. We were in T-shirts during day. Nights bit cold. The snow is mostly melted by September. Water channels have also receded by then. It becomes a gravel and dirt off-road track.
Having said that and to summarise its awesome if you do not expect snow capped mountains.
