Here are not one, but 3 different DIYs on How to make Glue at HOME, HomeMade Glues. Why 3? Because type of glue depend on what you want to stick, so the 1st one is goof for paper. 2nd one is good for paper and harder material like wood and board and the 3rd one can stick plastics and glass and metals, enough to complete your DIY project you might be needing glues for.

Honestly speaking, these glues are good for DIY projects that are short lived or non-professional grade. For items like shelves and wardrobes, i dont know how long it would last and if it has any other repercussions over time (furniture could last 5-10-20years).

Hi, the adhesive used to stick plastic & metal is much stronger and needs special chemicals. It is best if you purchase these glues from general stores near you!

Hello!
These glues are for simple craft items like wooden sticks and paper. To stick metal, you will have to use a superglue (cyanoacrylate). These are easily available in almost all general stores.

i tried it for a week but it was a perfectly air tight container...as long as the alcohol/petrol can be trapped, it will work, or you can always add a few drops later
