ABOUT THE HOUSE:
This minimalist house prizes simplicity, with its straight lines the white facade of the house floats over gardens that can follow the natural landscape of the lot or can be created to give that impression of lightness to the volume of the first floor of the house.
The house uses white to stand out against nature or the neighborhood, a noble color that brings lightness to the eye. The house becomes a blank canvas to live various moments and stories, so that the house can become a home.
For interior design, we follow the idea of minimalism, less is more! We use only what is necessary with simplicity, sobriety, and without exaggeration. This set of virtues sums up minimalist architecture. A house with a minimalist decor requires a meticulous attention to the choice of each element, which brings beauty to the environment.
Inside this two-bedroom house we have a contemplative garden. For this we used some strategies to transform this small environment into a place of peace. We have an infinity pool that follows the level of the house, where it will become a waterfall for the garden. The sound of the waterfall brings peace and tranquility to the rooms of the house.
The tree brings shade and freshness to the garden and we can only see the top of it in the social environment of the house (living rooms), a perfect place to place a wind chime.
But this garden design is not only contemplative, it is an essential part for the temperature control of the house, the combination of the tree and the pool brings a lot of freshness to the interior of the integrated living room. In this garden the wind passes through the tree and the pool and enters through the large sliding doors in the integrated room, bringing fresh and humid air.
This modern architecture was all planned to create spaces with plenty of natural light and ventilation to the interior. We used 2 strategies to achieve this:
✔ 2-skin facade hides the windows and also helps to control the temperature inside the house.
✔ Winter gardens, several rooms in the house have windows facing winter gardens, this ensures privacy and natural ventilation and lighting for the rooms.
This family home reveals a silence that reflects on people with quiet and discreet personalities.

• Minimum lot size: 20m x 11m / 65,61ft x 36,08ft
• Underground floor: 85,70m² / 922,46sqft
• First floor: 92,77m² / 998,56sqft²
Total: 178,47m² / 1921,03sqft

I love the concept. I love that you have multiple variations of the concept. However, for it to be turned into reality it would need accommodation made for a water heater and possibly a central AC/heating air handler. I love that the design would be great for hiding electrical and telecoms hookups.
My favourite part is the large shielding wall and berm across the front because no one really needs a view of the street, what's there to see?
This Brazilian architect is doing very well his work.

So beautiful, Feels really big but no waste of space. Brings together concept of small and usable space with minimalism beautifully. Love the underground garden. Can't imagine how peaceful it will be with the sound of water. One of my favourite house designs ever. Can you make one with a sunken living and kitchen with a view of the pool and an indoor green house. And small bedrooms. With indoor outdoor concept. Almost the same house plan too. Ofcourse adding your out of the box creativity and beauty too :-)

Very nice. I love the blank white street facade. The way the rooms open to multiple interior courtyards and gardens is beautiful. Almost classic Roman or Japanese. I can see this design adapting very well to different sites and climates, except perhaps in areas of medium to heavy snowfall. Looks easy to adapt to solar power and water conservation too.
Thank you Taylor! I am fascinated by Japanese architecture, both the modern one that uses many of the minimalist concepts as well as the traditional one. And yes this house for a place where it snows a lot might not be a good idea to have an exposed basement like this.
