People need to understand that before passing an opinion listen to the song at least 2-3 times. These songs are a bit longer and a single song has so many different parts you can't just judge all the parts in one single go. Most of the Coke Studio songs grow on you as you listen to them again and again.
I have experienced this myself... In the previous season when Paar Channa De first came out, I thought it was too dull and boring... as I started listening to it again and again I got addicted and found out that it is truly a masterpiece!!

This is perhaps one of the best songs of the Coke Studio, especially of the sentimental category. The emotional involvement of the artists is worth noticing. Just look at the facial expression of the singers and the other musicians (drummer, two guitarists, and the backing vocals); as if they were feeling the same excruciating pain as the lyrics were trying to express. The interludes were amazing that set the perfect tone for the other singer to appear.

QB is always the better singer or atleast on par with a male singer. But Jaafer absolutely crushed it! The range of the vocals and the feelings infused in this song are otherworldly. This is the only song i have ever heard 10 times on repeat.
This song makes me wanna go get a girlfriend , fall in love and break up with her and then feel the pain through this song :P

Even though the entire song has been flawless with impeccable musicians, I can't help but notice the two guitarists. Both the acoustic and electric guitar riffs were weaved in so beautifully. Takes up the song higher by a few notches

I think by now I have listened to this song 100s or 1000s times at least. Kavish/Jaffer's voice is so raw, unadulterated, pure and manly, I really really love his voice and singing style. I am listening him since I came across 'Nindiya Re'. Beautiful voices they possess. Quraitulain is wonderful too. I hope they get recognitions internationally. I got spelled by them 🤗
