I have an Avensis Estate 2009.This morning turning over for a few seconds then fired up with cloud of white smoke.My first port of call will be glow plugs as theyre not heating up to a high enough temperature for diesel hence hard start and white smoke unburnt diesel.After that car starts up straight away.Same thing happened on my 2010 Skoda Octavia VRS.Replaced all 4 glow plugs and problem fixed.
Hi great video by the way. I have a p1604 code on my tacoma 2012. The relay and fuses are all good. It starts real good no problems starting. However, as I am driving the engine shuts down for a second or two and I loose power to the wheels and the abs and brake light comes on. Then, the lights go out and engine automatically runs without any input from me. Any ideas? I am thinking my fuel pump is bad.

My young mechanic changed my fuel filter inside fuel tank under seat..I have 2009 TOYOTA COROLLA FIELDER.. ..it takes him 2days get it start Nw am experience hard start taking way 2 long start vehicle It trigger of error code 1604 help pz...b4 he mess with fuel system I didn't have this problem
Got this code Corolla 2013 The problem was i forget to put the sensors ground to the engine The symptoms was whenever i put the key in ignition , car start to crank by itself also the fan operates .
Have this in my 17 Corolla starts fine no lights on dash only when i scan it will start to idle weird like lightly vibrating 10 seconds then stop off and on then sometimes randomly will be bad like its going to stall 🤔🤷
I found out that my generation of Toyota Corolla, was to replace the cabin fuse box because the fuel pump relay aka open current circuit and it's integrated into the fuse box. The relay is not interchangeable, box must be replaced entirely
Check your battery ground cable. And the AC grounds on a rav they are on the passenger fender apron. Just diagnosed this this morning.

I got this code and have been getting terrible fuel economy now. I’ve changed spark plugs, battery, and brakes. Problem still persists. Ideas?
