Unfortunately, not, but that would definitely be a cool deal! With the way these cars are designed, they sound really good with an aftermarket sound system
No problem, man. Really wished I would have made a video installing it all. My Dash still looks pretty good no bubbling, but I also put baby oil on my dash every 6 months or so. It gives it a nice shine, and the oils help keep the dash from drying out. Whenever I 1st learned about the bubbling dashes in these cars, I was concerned that it would happen, but so far, I've been lucky! I wonder if there's a way to like smooth it out and fix all the Bubbling
@@BlackWidowdetailing yeah all good brother I have the Tesla style screen installed which was all plug in play overall it’s still good but I prefer your method better since you still have the old screen mounted in which some features are not available with the Tesla screen. Bought the SUV all bubbled up already, thinking of buying coverlay but a bit too steep for me. Keep up the content man! Thank you!
Oh nice! My girl wants the tesla style screen, I wonder if it's still possible to relocate the screen plus run the Tesla screen 🤔 I'll have to look into that. Damn that sucks man and yeah I mean u could just use black duck tape on the whole dash 😂 Nah I'm jp bro I haven't looked at the price of those but I bet for a good quality 1 they're expensive U could always make your own or go to a leather store and have some cut out and then glue it all down and tuck the edges. Thanks I will do my best sometimes it's hard tho idk what to make videos about I do but usually requires money but my bills require that as well 😅
I absolutely love my fx35 I got the awd version and it's pretty quick same Engine as the 350z also if u can find 1 with the high rev that's even quicker they also do good in all weather conditions not once did mine get stuck in the snow
Hey man so I want too do the same thing. Did you just splice all the wires together? How'd you make it so they are both playing at the same time? Like how is the original radio nor playing while the aftermarket is?
Since I had to trim my radio bezel, it was such a tight fit with the 7 inch that I didn't really need to mount it. I probably should have, but u know 🤷 lol. It would definitely be much more secure mounted tho. My fiancee was in a minor fender bender a few weeks after this video, and the radio stayed put. My original plan was to get some of that exsaust hanger flat metal with the holes in it and use that to fully secure the radio into the stock radio mount points. After I get a new radio bezel, that's most likely what I'll be doing
They came out of a jeep wrangler I believe they were bought from the Rough Country website but they're not really the greatest fit Whenever you first put them in they look decent but after a couple drives they're all over the place 😅
Looks like what I got but it didn't work, maybe my ground wire to my Kenwood head unit wasn't good. Or maybe you depined some wires then switch them around. Please let me know asap.
@George Acheampong Try Grounding the black wire to the metal frame that holds the stereo in place if I recall I believe that's what mine did as well if it doesn't work on that then u can find another Grounding point and test it there
Are you located in New Jersey I can pay you to do my fx35

Are you in Denver
Thanks for a long awaited vid. How does your dashboard look good? Mine is all bubbled up.

Love the video bro you giving me hope for my FX
Thanks bro I appreciate it 🙏 The fx is definitely an amazing car
Nice install I want to do this to mine any instructions?
Thanks for the upload
You're welcome! Thanks for your comment 🙂
Yes sir kindly help us with a video about the whole install
Sorry man my Fx35 is currently broke down Atm or I would
Once I get enough saved up I'll be buying a new engine and then putting it back in
Thinking of getting this car. I wanna SUV that is somewhat reliable but has some speed too. Would you recommend?

However they do like to burn oil so make sure u keep it toped up and also the valve cover gaskets tend to leak

How did you matched up the harness color codes
What did you use to mount the Double Din?

Thanks bro you are a big help
Did you have to extend the wiring for the screen to relocate it?
I did, yes I just used some regular speaker wire and heat shrink along with electric tape to wrap it all up
@@BlackWidowdetailing Great, thanks for your help.
Where u get those seat covers from
They came out of a jeep wrangler I believe they were bought from the Rough Country website but they're not really the greatest fit Whenever you first put them in they look decent but after a couple drives they're all over the place 😅
Man who keeps the old unit in the car.
What size is the screen?
7 inch Not sure about other sizes but with the 7 inch u will definitely need to trim the dash bezel quite a bit
What's the link to the harness?
Should be in the description
