B sounds like it has a high cut, which sounds more like an actual guitar amp. Go into the IR on the Nano and check the Hi cut setting. If there is one, raise it all the way to 20khz (off) and check again. Next possibility is that the IR's aren't actually the same. Try using the same 3rd party IR on both. I very much doubt the actual capture is different.
That’s a great take! Going to check that for sure. The hi cut setting I left how it came, which could be different than the QC. Will be doing more testing, thanks!
That’s what I thought on the QC! The other variable is the DI box, which should be pretty clean; the radial di. I do find it interesting how that can change the sound that much, the input gain level I mean.
@@FrankoTorresMusic I just went through a ton of experimentation with different load boxes. They have a dramatic effect on tone because the load box itself emulates the load of a particular speaker and that changes how the amp reacts. Of the ones I tested the Suhr Reactive Load. Not the IR model sounded the best. It emulates a 4x12 with greenbacks. I wanted to make the best sounding amp DI captures and so far that’s the best tool I’ve found for it.

This absolutely sounds like there is a high cut on B or the mic placement is more towards the center of the cone.
Did you check your IR setups on both, can drastically change tone if one mic is slightly different.
As far as the video goes, yes! That part I double checked quite a bit and was supposed to be the same.
i Love the A channel, is it Nano cortex?
Yup!
Not sure why but QC is cleaner and clearer from NC samples?
No clue! But the feel is pretty different in some of the captures. Not in a bad way towards either though
Might be your input gain level
