this is always an interesting discussion to see as someone who got into twice (and really k-pop in general) during the rtb era. personally i really like one spark and i think it makes sense thematically within the context of the entire album, but of course a title track needs to be able to stand on its own especially if it aims to draw in people who aren’t already fans. i like to think that these are just growing pains of adjusting to a more global demographic and finding their sound post contract renewal.
