You hit the nail on the head with this one. I would agreed with everything you said in this. This is what makes chap mei so great. They don’t do authentic representations of real world vehicles but they stride the middle ground between something with a lot of play value and something with a little work can work in a diorama or a display piece and this is what makes it so successful. Hasbro should take note if they ever renew interest in the gi joe brand

That C130 model is kitted out like the "Expendables" I have this toy boxed new..The sounds and Gatling guns make this model.. It's awesome..I have the giant Nuclear submarine too.😁

great video! however, i think that the TRUE HEROES hovercraft deserves more attention. FANTASTIC toy with much more play features for the modern JOE collector. Also, the CORPS rain fire helicopter should be featured on this channel. thank you.
It looks really cool. I enjoyed your video as a G.I.Joe lover. But this thing is pretty big. Only way to display it is by hanging it from the ceiling i guess. since a display shelf, cabinet or even a table seems incapable for this beast. any way enjoy it.
Is True Heroes still a thing after TRU went under? I got some of the latter playsets like the hovercraft and bridge layer vehicle, but never got the Shark, submarine, or the battleship. I do however have a similar toy, The Corps! Elite Beast Bomber. That vehicle is interesting, but a little disappointing by virtue of the fact that it's called a bomber, looks like a bomber, and has no bombs to drop from its bomb bay door. That's probably my biggest complaint about it. That said, it has some interesting carrying capacity too, albeit it's not as cozy. The Shark has more versatility, as it can be used as anything from a troop transport, supply cargo transport, an Ariel command center, a ground support attack plane, etc etc. The Beast Bomber on the other hand is simply for attacking ground targets with some meager turrets for defending itself. If you get the chance you should pick it up, I got mine last year at Wal-mart for $25, half the price of the Shark, so I wouldn't recommend paying some of the extortionist prices out there online, but for what it is it was most definitively worth that. I wish I could have got the helicopter that was released too.
I remember when I was a kid and had these toys there was one which im not sure was made by the same company it was a huge helicopter with like 4 legs on the bottom that could pick up a car or something like that but I can't find it on any website's it was one of those helicopters that could turn into a plane and had people in like exo suits but it was so cool

sorry but isn't the price between the AB and eagle hawk are so close because one is smaller because the molding in details for smaller pieces is labor and that's why the price is so close to the AB which has bigger pieces, but it just shows you more smaller pieces shortens the size you can afford to pay for material and production. like the eagle hawk still has removable panels right? like that adds up in price equaling close to the AB; for as stupid as it is that's just how i always thought it was.
