One of the core components is to inform those picked to deliberate on the details of what they are deliberating. This information is communicated by experts in the field of discussion. But... who decides the qualifications of these experts? Who appoints them? And why those experts in particular? Who is to say that a "flat earth expert" won't be allowed to present information? If we do allow them, then why are we giving credence to conspiracy theories? And if we don't allow them, why are we censoring ideas? And what criteria are we using to determine what should or should not be censored? Essentially we end up back at the place we started: trying to identify the facts. Adding in a random pool of people to deliberate just seems like an extra, potentially unnecessary or even detrimental step after that.
