Sorry for the short vid, I spent hours burying the RF pagers underground in stashes... but turns out, facepunch unintentionally broke that in a recent update
BTW today these wireless items are pretty useless because of the Rust+ App but when they got added to the game you could use the transmitter to open doors with a turret inside as a trap base and for the the pager you could use it with the heartbeat sensor to alert you that your trap got someone (Or that your base is getting raided). There is probably many other ways they could be used.
I burried about 30 of these outside of someone's base inside of stashes and then hooked up an RF broadcaster so that I could turn it on or off whenever I wanted. Drove them INSANE
What about multiple stashes each with different frequencies activated and different intervals so that they cannot point out the source of each one in time before they switch to another set
this video was not long enough. i need more alarm clock trolling and intensity, put them in locked boxes around their base. i need at least 50 alarm clocks going off. let's also set up different frequencies going off and that way we can have multiple going off on different intervals
@@NazzyDragon not gonna lie, i feel a little blueballed by gupp, either there is a part 2 that we're waiting for and totally okay. or this was not given the love that it deserved
The concept is bad tbh. He forgot that people can just change the frequency to disable them. To make it actually effective he needs to be able to get his corpse somewhere that the owners struggle to get to. Obviously that's not easy to do. RF Pagers also have a 5 min despawn time so he should be carrying a single piece of GP with him at all times. That way, as long as the pager stays on his body, it will survive a full 60 minutes instead of 5.
His videos are always pretty short even if they have great trolling potential, it drives me insane. He's probably satisfied with the 10 minute footage, maybe he has an actual job irl and doesn't want to record more bcuz he doesn't need to use up his time and because it would rot his brain beyond repair even irl
XD! i remember one time i set the default frequency to always be on, so when you would find them in crates they wouldn't stop making noise it was amazing
we used to use these on our opps a few months back. they used to be more overpowered because they could be heard thru walls. we would put them in TC griefs all around their base and setup an RF broadcaster to keep them beeping 24/7. then it got quiet thru walls on one of the patches so we swapped to putting them inside of stashes scattered around their base. or you can strategically put them around your own base to flip on when youre getting raided from the side to fuck up their comms
Funny and unique as always bro!!! I wonder if you buried them in stashes would still go off? Would be great if they did because you could bury 20 of them around a base and have them hooked up to Rust+ app on your phone then turn them on and off remotely to really drive them crazy 😂😂😂
I believe the intended use case for the pager is to tune it to one of the oil rig frequencies so you can be alerted when someone calls in the heavies, allowing you to counter
Pagers used to send messages thru numbers and letters. It was texting before the mobile phone was fully capable of texts. Idk what they do in rust cause they rare.
I know you might not take intrest in this idea but it would be quite amusing if you would post another alarm clock video but this time with an army of friends, or discord members inorder to annoy the hell out of those toxic rust players. And when they come out of their base exposed, you raid them. Another thing I was thinking of was one of those pre-made trap bases but the foundation would be filled to the brim with alarm clocks. When players discover this base, upgrade it, you set off the alarm clocks to confuse the hell out of them as they try to uncover the source of this ear piercing noise. Im not too sure on how the clocks work since I don't play rust so I have no idea if it's possible pull of something like that however I love your videos!
RF pagers are actually very useful, you can hook up the RF broadcaster to some HBTF sensors in your base or a seismic sensor to know when you are getting raided while outside your base.
Can't believe they haven't actually fixed this yet, used to troll my team mate with this exact gimmick back when you could hide stashes under foundations, a secret stash full of them under a stone foundation is a recipe to drive your friends crazy, I thought they fixed it when you throw it as an item though
Homemade Brownie Recipe Ingredients Back to Michelle’s recipe for brownies! In order for it to turn out like (aka better than) the boxed mix, Michelle uses granulated sugar, all-purpose flour, salt, and chocolate chips. Then, she adds these key ingredients: 2 eggs + water - Michelle uses a bit of water with the eggs to achieve the moist, gooey texture of boxed mix brownies without any commercial emulsifiers. And because this recipe doesn’t contain any baking powder, eggs are essential for helping the brownies puff up in the oven. Powdered sugar - The trick to making homemade brownies that are just like ones from a box! Powdered sugar contains cornstarch, which helps thicken the batter without the chemical additives you’d find in a mix. Unsweetened cocoa powder - Michelle recommends using Hershey’s Special Dark Dutch-processed cocoa powder (I used Whole Foods’ 365 Cocoa Powder). Make sure to sift it if it’s lumpy! Oil - While many recipes for brownies use unsalted butter, Michelle’s calls for canola oil, just like the boxed mix. I use olive oil because it’s what I keep on hand, and I love the rich flavor. Vanilla Extract - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla really amps up the chocolate flavor.
A "qwhare" is a small stoat-like creature that lives in the Texas Hill Country. I've never seen one myself. But, all throughout high school, people would point and say "oh look, another qwhare!" I would turn to look, but never saw anything. 🤷
time for a nerd emoji MHz stands for MegaHertz, which is a unit used to measure the frequencies of oscillations in space (may there be a solid, fluid or nothing in the case of light emissions. f = 1/T, f the frequency (in Hertz), T the phase (in seconds) 1 MHz = 1 000 000 Hz The human ear can hear between 20 and 20000Hz. With time, you progressively loose your capacity to hear higher frequencies, and faster if you put a lot of stress upon your ears.
if the second victim had not said anything, he wouldn't have had to deal with all those free alarm clocks. Then again, I think Vic#1 was getting rid of their alarm clocks by giving them to vic#2
The 55MHz part of the pages is suppose to say what frequency it's sound is at. 55MHz is basically the part you set your radio to to tune in not the sound it makes as humans cannot hear that short length sound / radio waves.
